What is a Dental Implant?

Dental implants are artificial screws made of titanium or zirconium oxide that connect the jawbone and a dental restoration like a crown or denture. Recovery time after a dental implant procedure may take four to six weeks or up to 12 weeks for some patients. Patients can travel one day after the insertion of a single dental implant. Patients who require multiple dental implants or supporting surgical procedures should wait for around two weeks before travelling. They should meet the dental surgeon to get a certification of being fit to travel before embarking on their journey.

Michelle who was our first point of contact is the most adorable, kind caring lady who has gone the extra mile in helping us. I am an events manager and I'm hard to impress when it comes to customer service and Michelle has exceeded all expectations. Dr Joanne Salters was so so helpful and again we felt so comfortable with her excellent care and not to forget Mr Tait who has a wonderful manner and has started excellent treatment on my son. I had my first appointment with Dr Sheraz last week. At the age of 76 I've never liked the dentist and always nervous. He came out from his surgery to greet me in the waiting room and introduced himself. He put me at ease and his Nurse was lovely too. He was very gentle explaining everything to me. I had been booked in for a crown but after taking x-rays he advised me that the filling was stable and I didn't need it after all. Such a relief. I would happily recommend him to any nervous patient like myself. The receptionist was very nice and helpful when booking the follow-up appointments.
