Michelle Flynn is a senior practitioner of acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine with a special interest in nutrition. She obtained her BSc HONS degree at both Middlesex University, UK & Beijing University, China. The 5 year full time degree programme she undertook is respected as the highest Chinese medical degree. Part of her clinical practice included training in the UK at North Middlesex Hospital , The Whittington Hospital and The Asante Academy of Chinese Medicine and an internship in 2 of Beijing's most reputed hospitals of both western medicine and Chinese medicine; The Xi Yuan Hospital & The Japanese Chinese Friendship Hospital. After graduation in 2006 Michelle was offered a teaching position at the Asante Academy of Chinese medicine where she supervised students through their clinical practice. She also ran the pain clinic and Ante Natal Care Unit at The Whittington Hospital. Michelle has been practicing in her private clinic(s) for over 16 years. Her areas of interest and expertise are in pain management, infertility  & working  in conjugation with IVF therapy, menopause, emotional & gynaecological disorders.

I was diagnosed with sciatica and was recommended The Lansdown Clinic from family and the service provided has been excellent. The sciatica was gone after 4 weeks and the I'm now on the second stage of treatment involving a chiropractor and a massage therapist to prevent a recurrence. This was presented as an option - there is no hard sell. My view is there is no point swimming halfway across the river, I need to go all the way across. A heartfelt thank you to Sydney and Ashleigh.

Seeking acupuncture help with my weak arm after having a stroke and also neck and sinus problems. Ying was very knowledgeable and understanding and treated all my issues. I chose this clinic as not far from my home town. The clinic is also suitable for disabled patients, with wheelchair access and toilet facilities. Parking is available on street or nearby carpark.Good value all round. Looking forward to my next visit.

I visited the clinic today for joint and back pain. I was given a thorough consultation and was given a professional opinion and an idea of future treatment. I liked the kind manner in which I was told about my problems/condition and it was delivered in a way I could relate to. I felt at ease asking questions and felt comfortable throughout the visit. Great experience. Very friendly, relaxed and welcoming. I was given more hope than I had; quite a list of exercises to go away and work on my wrist injury with, and I had a long list of questions answered. There was time for acupuncture at the end too which was really great. I had an hour session for £50 but I think it’s now £60. I’d love to see more social business models fit to support people on a low income / with unstable visa etc. (more wealthy customers ‘pay it forward’ type schemes) throughout these kinds of necessary practices. And though of course, that responsibility doesn’t fall solely on individual businesses, more examples lead to more examples… Really appreciate it, Thank you!
