Hi, I was treated by Martina in Rathmines every week for about 6 weeks. I found it to be a fantastic experience. I was full of anxieties, self-doubts and frustrations. She was an amazing listener and could unravel all of those issues in a way I never thought possible. We got to the source of them, and I came away from her every week with a much better understanding of myself. I talked about things I hadn't even thought of for years. My GP suggested that I should get CBT (cognitive behaviour therapy) for my OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder). I have to admit that I was skeptical but was willing to try anything. I found OPAL on the What Clinic site through an Internet search. I was put in contact with Ray James and he explained the concept of CBT so well that I felt re-assured. I had eight sessions in total and Ray helped me so much during these. I learnt effective coping strategies and he helped me to confront my OCD. I can now manage this and live life more fully. I have no hesitation in recommending Ray as a first class therapist.
