My holistic approach to the therapeutic relationship is one of openness and simplicity. I specialise in working with people who experience difficulties with work related stress, fertility, low self-confidence, bereavement, anger management, anxiety, anger management, abuse, bereavement, stress management, loss and relationship issues. I use meditation and relaxation techniques in sessions along with aiding the individual to express themselves in the way which which is appropriate for them. This enables my clients to walk out with a whole set of new tools to use in their everyday lives. I believe the intuitive, empathic relationship between therapist and client is the most healing part of working together and so it is important for the client to trust their instinct when choosing a therapist.

Reikiis a form of hands-on healing which is deeply relaxing. It releases energyblockages, detoxifies the system, provides new vitality and well being in theform of healing universal life energy. It is also useful in treating seriousillnesses as well as cuts, burns, internal diseases, emotional disorders, andstress-related illnesses. Theword Reiki is Japanese and means ‘Universal Energy’ – the energy that flowsthrough all living things. It was rediscovered by Mikao Usui in Japan in thelate 1800’s. Asyou relax, fully clothed, on a couch or seated the Reiki practitioner holdsher/his hands on or above you. There is no pressure on the body thus making itideal for treating all ages and conditions. The energy flows wherever it isrequired and can normally be felt as a warm sensation or tingling in the body.Receiving Reiki is a very relaxing and soothing experience! CranioSacral Therapy is generally a very light touch, therapy. It is deeply effective on a wide range of conditions and is far more than just the cranium - sacrum complex which the name implies.  CranioSacral Therapy is excellent at helping the body cope with trauma. Trauma includes falls, accidents, blows, surgery, physical and emotional impingements and the birth process itself all of which can lead to neurological irritation, vascularconstriction, tissue contracture, sclerosis or other such influences. These patterns of disharmony becomes imprinted into the tissues at many levels – in the soft tissues, the membranes, the fascia, the nerve endings, the peripheral nerves, the central nervous system or in the energy systems. Paediatric CranioSacral Therapy The birth process itself can be as challenging and demanding to baby as it is to mother. Many babies will have experienced some kind of unnatural stress or interference by the time they are born.  CranioSacral Therapy is particularly valuable for babies and children since their bodies are malleable. They can correct easily and quickly because they have spent less time organising themselves around their physical and emotional restrictions. Left untreated, these restrictions can take more time and effort to correct in adulthood, causing pain and dysfunction in the interim.
