Counselling tends to be a short term exploration of current personal difficulties, and Psychotherapy is a more long term process which enables people to understand the deeper roots of their present difficulties.
I include in my practice, the most widely used therapeutic frameworks today including: Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT); Reality Therapy/Choice Theory; Motivational Interviewing, Relationship /Couples Counselling; Narrative Therapy; and Solution-Focussed Brief Therapy.
