About Life Force Counselling Psychotherapy and Life Coaching

Life Force Counselling and Psychotherapy offers a broad range of confidential counselling and psychotherapy services.

It's an opportunity to spend time in a calm environment where you will not be judged and where you will be treated with care and respect.   Therapy will also assist you in looking at your problems in a different way helping you to gain a sense of perspective which is essential in helping you to stop the feeling of being stuck in your problems. 

Whatever your situation, be it a current difficulty or an experience from your past which you may be struggling with, we are here to listen.  As different issues may require different approaches we offer a range of therapeutic services.  For example:

Client-Centered Therapy:

Therapists provide a supportive and non-judgmental environment, creating a space for you to explore your feelings and thoughts freely. This approach can be very beneficial in releasing and working through complex or previously unexpressed feelings. Your therapist may support you in understanding your feelings (and the impact they have on you) through sharing psychological education pieces relevant to your situation. Client-centered therapy may also help to improve your self-concept, which is your set of beliefs and ideas about yourself.  This plays an important role in influencing not only how you feel about yourself, but also how you perceive and interact with the world around you. 

CBT Solution Focused Therapy:

CBT is a type of therapy that aims to help you identify and change negative thought patterns and behaviors.  This approach focuses on the present and future, rather than dwelling on the past. It is a collaborative approach between the therapist and the client, working together to set goals and develop strategies for change.
