Ahead Of Health Counselling and Psychotherapy

I went to Theresa for Counselling. It was my first time and I was very nervous and didn't really know what to expect. I sought out counselling because I had experienced a very traumatic birth. Life became really difficult and a friend suggested I contact Theresa.

I knew from the start Theresa was the counsellor for me. It was the first time I really talked about what had happened and had somebody really listen. I still have difficult days but learning to let somebody else into my pain without feeling like it means I am weak or a bad mother has been indescribable. I'm learning how to cope with the bad days. I can't recommend her enough.

I attended Ahead of Health based on an excellent recommendation from a colleague. I found Theresa to be highly personable, incredibly empathetic towards me and my struggle with depression & anxiety. I gained invaluable insight into the triggers for my anxiety and learnt excellent strategies for off-setting episodes. I feel attending this clinic has given me the freedom to live a life free from worry and isolation, and given me the tools to manage my anxiety going forward. I would highly recommend this therapist.
