This is the first time we meet. Most people are a bit nervous but there's nothing to be worried about we don't bite. It's a good idea to wear shorts and a lose training top if male, and shorts and strapless top if female. This enables us to have a good look at your spine and posture if needed. However for some treatments and assessments we may ask you to remove your top, this enables us to better asses the condition or injury. Assessment: This first takes the form of a detailed chat, where we gather all the important information about your condition and any related information that could prove useful in treating you. This includes your past medical history and the history of your injury. We then move on to more physical assessment, looking at posture, functional movements, muscle tests, ligament stability tests and neuromuscular (nerve) tests where appropriate.Diagnostic: All the information gathered from the assessment is then used to formulate a diagnosis (we tell you whats wrong). We will then give you some treatment options and advise you on how working together we intend to treat the injury/condition. We will also give you a time frame for recovery. Rehabilitation: Depending on your condition rehabilitation may become a large part of your recovery. We will give you the tools, understanding and guidance to manage your injury.

Dr Logan offers a skilled and highly experienced service. Using physiological techniques he has successfully treated patients with bio-mechanical and neurophysiology issues. Backprakt's therapeutic strategy is to promote body healing. Dr Logan has provided relief to many patients ranging from young children to octogenarians. Read our testimonials from patients with a variety of injuries including sports and repetitive strains at our clinics at Lytham St Annes & Garstang. Mary D wrote: "I have suffered from back pain on a daily basis since 2007 following two operations. I have been treated by numerous professionals both privately and through the NHS with little or no improvement. Everyone I consulted had a different opinion as to the cause of the pain which resulted in a wide range of treatments and scans. A friend who’s daughter was successfully treated by Dr Logan suggested I contact him at Backprakt.  "Dr Logan explained that although the pain was in my back it was probably the result of an old injury to my foot combined with my operations. Dr Logan began a course of treatment and after only three sessions the improvement was amazing. The pain has lessened considerably and the flexibility in my foot has improved 100%.  "I would highly recommend Dr Logan for his kindness, professionalism and Knowledge."

My knee feels much better after all of this and I was finally able to start running againLucy, UK, 06 09 21

I was having ongoing problems with a sore knee that was preventing me from running, after being unsatisfied with the advice from my GP I decided to go directly to a physiotherapist and spent some time looking at reviews for people in the area. I found Marek and was able to quickly and easily make an appointment. He came to my house and was able to examine my knee and work out the cause of the problem, from there he gave me a thorough treatment plan to get me back on my feet. The plan was easy to follow and didn't feel difficult to add to my daily routine and after a few days I began to notice an improvement in my knee. As treatment progressed Marek gave me ways to change the stretches so that I'd be getting the most out of them. My knee feels much better after all of this and I was finally able to start running again. Throughout Marek was professional and helpful, he clearly has a great deal of knowledge regarding the musculoskeletal system and could plainly explain everything in a way that I could understand. I'd be happy to call Marek for any future issues and to recommend him to others.
