Davidcombines a wide range of techniques, ranging from OsteopathicManipulation, Massage, Trigger Point Therapy,Cranio- Sacral Therapy,Nutrition and Exercise. Treatments are tailoredfor People. It is understood that somepeople simply do not like osteopathicmanipulation, while others like DeepTissue Massage, or benefitfrom Cranio- Sacral Therapy. There are differentways of treating people who are in pain, and providing the treatment thatworks for you is very important. Osteopathy is wellknown for treating Headaches, Neck &Back Pain, but many other conditionssuch as migraines, frozen shoulderand arthritis can allrespond well to good Osteopathic treatment. There are differenttypes of Back Pain. These range frommuscular stiffness, bony/mechanical pain, deep muscle spasm where anylaughing or coughing is verypainful, to tooth ache/ nerve type pain that isintolerable. Some times on wakeningthe back is incredibly stiff, conversely it may feel rested and pain free. Back pain can ease orworsen through the day. It may bebetter or worse for activity. It may only hurt whenstanding or it may be pain free whenstanding. There are differentcauses for a Sore Back. Different tissues willbe affected in each individual case.It is important to identify the affectedtissues, so the correct treatme
Posture Management £35 - £55
Conditions arising from bad posture can be helped with osteopathy, but in long term attention must be given to Ergonomics. A first rate chair is the first thing to be fitted. This should fit like a good pair of shoes, this chair should feel just right. The second thing is the desk, which should be fully height adjustable. A difference here of 30mm can make all the difference.A decent bluetooth keyboard and mouse that has the "Ball" on top, so the arm is tension free is essential. There are more modern systems such as Trackpads that are good.Companies such as Osmond Ergonomics can provide excellent products. If you use a computer for your job, it is well worth learning to touch type. This is so you do not have to watch your where your fingers are on the keyboard and your head is not constantly flexed forwards.People who drive long distances should think if their car seat and driving position gives them back or neck pain. If this is the case, consider changing your car for one that gives you a comfortable drive.David offers a service providing a full work station assessment in accordance with the DSE Regulations(1992).
Spinal Rehabilitation - Neck and Back Injury £35 - £55
The neck frequently causes pain. The neck supports the head, which weighs about 10 lbs. The head turns, nods back & forth and bends side to side. The muscles in the neck perform all these fine movements, and also holds the head in all sorts positions. When a vertebra in the neck is moved slightly out of position, small ligaments are over stretched and the muscles in the area then spasm to protect the neck. This is where osteopathic manipulation can put the vertebra into the correct position, and stop this painful muscle spasm.

Health For Life Spinal Wellness Centre - Edinburgh - Dr Paul Homoky of Health for Life

Health For Life Spinal Wellness Centre - Edinburgh

It's a very relaxing experience considering the amount of pain I arrived in at the clinicJanice, UK, 28 10 18

I saw Dr Homoky at his clinic for bilateral rotator cuff and trapped a nerve in c6/7. I certainly have no regrets. He was wonderful, the pain I was in was off the pain scale and he got me to a stage that I could lift a cup again put on my jacket put my hair up things I just no longer could do. He taught me how to relax taught me exercises to do at home and freed me from the awful pain I was in. However, I went on holiday and my husband came home to no job so I couldn’t continue my treatment plan but I can’t thank this guy enough for bringing me so far. Amazing, I would recommend him to anyone with joint problems. You can’t put a price on your arms, it was great value for money. I found the clinic online. It's a very relaxing experience considering the amount of pain I arrived in at the clinic. It was an amazing experience, thank you for everything.

The system was very efficient and I would recommend the serviceFiona, UK, 23 04 22

I was treated for lower back muscle spasms and a previously undiagnosed Bakers cyst behind my knee. There were 3 sessions and I was impressed by the physio and her approach. The system was very efficient and I would recommend the service. The only downside is the price. Many people would struggle to pay the fees, especially for longer-term treatment. The NHS can't cope with the demand but should perhaps subsidise some private treatment to prevent chronic conditions.
