About Physio Answers- Leyton

We are an established physiotherapy clinic with a friendly team of experienced, chartered physiotherapists for expert treatment of all musculoskeletal causes of pain or injury.

We aim to provide the most effective and individual treatment programme for each of our patients with a holistic approach and a focus on hands on treatment techniques.

We treat many conditions including neck and back pain, sports injuries, joint and muscle pain, whiplash, and work related disorders.

We also provide sports massage by chartered physiotherapists tailored to your individual requirements. 

We are conveniently located on Leyton High Road near Leyton Tube station and major bus routes and have pay and display parking nearby.

We are open evenings and Saturdays.

5 50 Ultrasound Therapy

When I saw Monica today I couldn't put my left arm behind my back. After 1 session I can now do it. I am impressed with the thoroughness of the treatment I received and the immediate improvement in mobility of my left arm.

Arthur graduated with a Higher National Diploma in Physiotherapy at , , .

He then completed another physiotherapy degree in 2001, this time at the , to obtain a Bsc (Hons) Physiotherapy. He is awaiting accreditation with the Society of Orthopaedic Medicine (SOM) having completed an extensive course of education in upper and lower limb disorders.

He is also currently studying for an MSC in Advanced Neuromusculoskelatal Management at the .

Arthur has extensive experience working with Orthopaedic and Rheumatology consultants at the , with patients suffering from acute, chronic and complex presentations.  Working in the pain clinic led by anaesthetists has given him invaluable experience in dealing with patients with long standing problems.

PRINCIPAL PHYSIOTHERAPIST - Ann Petherbridge BSc (Hons), MCSP 

Ann Petherbridge BSc (Hons), MCSP is the owner and principal practitioner at Physio-Answers and practices at both Southend and Leyton.

She graduated from Brunel University in 1999 and soon specialised in musculo-skeletal physiotherapy in the NHS. Here she gained valuable experience in treating an extensive variety of patients and conditions. She was also involved in training under-graduate physiotherapy students.

 

Ann has worked in the private sector for the last 12 years including treating patients involved in litigation cases.She completed post-graduate training in acupuncture in 2000 and regularly attends lectures and courses to update her knowledge in all aspects of physiotherapy.

Leanne Batson MSc Physiotherapy

Leanne gained her Masters in physiotherapy from the prestigious King’s College London in 2012.

Prior to her physiotherapy degree she gained a BSc (Hons) in biomedical science which provided her with a knowledge of the main concepts underpinning modern medicine including physiology, endocrinology and immunology. She is now able to use this in optimising a holistic approach to her patients’ conditions and injuries.


When Leanne is not treating at Physio-Answers she works in the musculoskeletal multi-disciplinary team at the BHR University Hospital Trust treating a wide variety of musculoskeletal, orthopaedic and neurological patients

Leanne is particularly interested in rehabilitation from sporting injuries and long term management of neurological conditions.
