Ede Therapies Lechlade

Jody Ede is a highly qualified nurse and sports massage therapist. She has worked, for the last 15 years, in most hospital departments, and has gained extensive knowledge of the diagnosis and treatment of illnesses and injuries. For the past 10 years she has worked on the ITU ward of John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford, as a sister, and has become aware of the benefits and importance of Physiotherapy and massage in dealing with recovery of patients from illness or trauma. She has been trained in Sports Therapy and Remedial Massage so is able to offer help, advice and treatment in both the recovery from injury, and it's prevention using muscle therapy techniques.

David Ede is a highly qualified and extremely experienced chartered physiotherapist. He has a wealth of expertise in all types of musculoskeletal problems and is particularly focussed on the care, prevention and rehabilitation of sporting injuries. In addition to his specialisation in sporting injuries, David treats all the usual range of general physiotherapy conditions, and specialises in spinal injuries and rehabilitation. He offers convenient daytime and evening appointments to suit the patient. His preferred treament methods include soft-tissue mobilisation, joint mobilisation and manipulation. A strong emphasis is placed on re-education of joint proprioception and stabilising muscles to help prevent reoccurrence of injury. He has close associations with all the main hospitals and many of the gymnasiums in the area, and has been referred to by numerous clinics and medical centres. In his spare time, David is a keen athlete, runner and swimmer and fully understands the commitment and passions of modern sports participants.
