Biography:
Nigel is the proprietor of Benfleet Physiotherapy - Multi Disciplinary Clinic, heading Chartered Physiotherapists, Sports Scientists, Podiatrist and Remedial Masseur. He studied at Northern Institute, Blackpool where he gained L.C.S.P(Phys) and is a State Registered Physiotherapist, registered with the Health Professionals Council (PH 75875). He worked initially as a Sports Therapist at Abbey Clinic in Waltham Abbey, Essex - an Acute Sports Injury Orthopaedic Clinic and Physiotherapist for Woodford Green, Essex Ladies AC and Havering, Mayesbrook AC. Nigel competed for Woodford Green AC in The British League over 800/1500m. Won numerous Area and County titles. Competed for Santa Monica Track Club in Los Angeles USA in 1983/84, at 800m (1.49.0) and 1500m (3.43.0). Upon retirement from track athletics due to injury, he commenced Triathlon, progressed to competing for GB at World Championships in Wellington, New Zealand 1994, Lausanne Switzerland 1998, Montreal Canada 1999, European Triathlon Championships in Madeira Portugal 1999 and World Du-Athlon Championships in Hobart, Australia 1994. Nigel has been a physiotherapist for the GB Athletics Team, British Triathlon Team, Canvey Island RFC, Masters Performing Arts College, pupils of The Royal Ballet School, Elmhurst School for Dance, The Atalia Conte School of Dance and numerous International and Olympic athletes and professional footballers. INTERESTS include Bi Annual Screening and Assessment of the young athlete with comprehensive feedback to coach, parent and governing body.

Biography:
Kamal is a member of the CSP, HPC and the Indian Association of Physiotherapists and has been working with Benfleet Physiotherapy. He obtained his Bachelor of Physiotherapy from The University of Mangalore, India in 1999 and since then has accrued a vast experience in the disciplines of physiotherapy. Kamal has worked in various locations and settings throughout his professional career including St. Andrews Hospital in Newham London and Bombay Hospital & Medical Research Centre in Bombay, India. Kamal has attended many courses and seminars throughout his career including - The Cervical Spine and Upper Limb course (Society of Orthopaedic Medicine) Progressive Fitness Course (American College of Sports Medicine) What is Normal Movement - The Bobath Concept Kamal has a particular interest in Musculoskeletal injuries and also the rehabilitation of those with Cardio-Respiratory and Neurological Impairment.

Scott Cook

Biography:
Scott has been at Benfleet Physiotherapy since 2008. He obtained a first class BSc (Honours) Physiotherapy Degree at the University of Essex. He also holds a degree in Sports Therapy. Scott works closely with Masters Dance and Performing Arts College as well as Seevic College where he runs weekly injury clinics to assess and treat the athletes. He has also worked with Canvey Island RFC and Canvey Island Football Club. Scott is a keen sportsman who regularly participates in football, golf, running as well as exercising at the gym. Additionally he has sailed for many years and holds a qualification as an assistant sailing instructor with the Royal Yachting Association (RYA). Furthermore he is also a qualified gym instructor with a level 2 YMCA. Scott is interested in all areas of physiotherapy, however is specifically interested in the functional rehabilitation of sports based injuries.
