MCSP Grad Dip Phys MCSP, AACP (Head of Practice) Mike Conyers worked in the National Health Service for 15 years, lastly as a superintendent of a busy physiotherapy department, before opening his own Private Practice in 1982 in Queens Road, Brentwood, moving and expanding the practice to Crushes Manor Clinic in 1988. Mike is a full member of the OCPPP and CSP and specialises in the assessment and treatment of spinal and sporting injuries and offers a full physiotherapy assessment and treatment service for all conditions. He is qualified in Maitland mobilisations and Cyriax mobilising techniques and also provides a full range of electrical treatments including ultra-sound, interferential therapy, h-wave and diapulse where required. He also offers acupuncture for pain relief. Mike acts in a consultancy capacity for the assessment, treatment and reporting for patients involved in medical litigation's following incidents of trauma with The Injury Care Clinics Limited (TICCS), Quantum Managed Care (QMC) and many local solicitors. Mike is also a member of the Association of Visually Impaired Chartered Physiotherapists (AVICP), Manipulation Association of Chartered Physiotherapists (MACP), Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Sports Medicine (ACPSM), Society or Orthopaedic Medicine (SOM)

John Cowman

Biography:
MSc John obtained a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy from Dublin University in 1995, a Post Graduate Certificate in Statistics in 1996, an MSc in Research in 1998 and a Post Graduate Certificate in Management in 2001. John has worked extensively within the NHS both in Ireland and the UK and has also worked as a private practitioner with speciality in sports and non-sport musculoskeletal injuries. He was the lead physiotherapist for neuromuscular research at King’s College Hospital in London and developed a new hydrotherapy service for adults with severe neurological disabilities in Thurrock. John is currently working for Havering Primary Care Trust as an Associate Director with the lead for all allied health professions including physiotherapy and is at Crushes Manor Clinic on Saturday mornings.

Debbie Tomlinson

Debbie has been working as a physiotherapist since 1980. She qualified in the Netherlands, has lived and worked for 20 years in South Africa before moving to England in 2002. Debbie has worked as a private practitioner in several hospitals and outpatient departments over the years. She has gained qualifications in Maitland Mobilisations and cardio-thoracic rehabilitation. She has also been responsible for setting up a clinic for antenatal classes in South Africa. Currently she is working towards a Masters degree in musculoskeletal physiotherapy, and starting a course in Pilates rehabilitation in March 2008.

Kedar Kale

Biography:
BPhT, MCSP Kedar trained at the University of Pune in India. He taught undergraduates at the physiotherapy school he graduated from and worked as a clinical tutor before starting his practice in conjunction with a renowned sports medicine surgeon. Kedar has carried out voluntary physiotherapy work in the state of Gujarat, India, caring for the victims of the Gujarat earthquake in 2001 A love of sports and treating sports injuries led him to accept a position with the State cricket association. He was also the local physiotherapist for the West Indies national cricket team when they toured India in 2002. Kedar is currently doing his masters in Neuromusculoskeletal physiotherapy from the University of Hertfordshire and works with the South-West Essex trust as a senior Physiotherapist working in the specialities of Hand Therapy and Musculoskeletal Therapy.

Sarang Kale

BSc MCSP Sarang obtained a Diploma in Physiotherapy in 1997 and a BSc in Physiotherapy from Pune University in India in 1999. Prior to coming to the UK in 2003, Sarang was manager for the physiotherapy department in the Pune Institute of Neurology, India. Here he worked mainly with patients who had head and spinal injuries, including fractures of the spine, and with patients who had had surgery for brain tumours. He also had his own private clinic with an orthopaedic surgeon where he saw patients after arthroscopies, fractures and hip/knee replacements. Whilst working at the Pune Institute Sarang also taught physiotherapy students about orthopaedic conditions and neurological rehabilitation. Since coming to the UK Sarang first worked in Basildon hospital working with respiratory and musculoskeletal patients, including lower limb rehab. He then rotated to Highwood Hospital in Brentwood where he worked in intermediate care and with orthopaedic and musculoskeletal patients. He is currently working in Orsett hospital in the hand therapy service. Sarang is at Crushes Manor Clinic on Tuesday and Thursday evenings.
