Biography:
Graduated 1986 from the Guys Hospital School of Physiotherapy.Gillian worked in the NHS for 2 years and then moved into private practice in order to be able to specialise in musculo-skeletal medicine and have more time for her patients.She gained extensive experience in a number of practices both in the UK and abroad before setting up the Abbey Clinic in 1994She has worked with numerous international athletes and teams including GB Rowing, Judo, Hockey, and the England football team. She was physiotherapist to the British Equestrian team from 1999 to 2005 attending European and World Championships and the Sydney Olympics.She has a special interest in Tennis and since 1994 has worked closely with the LTA Junior programmes at Bisham and was involved in the setting up and running of their musculo-skeletal profiling programme.She is a strong believer in continual professional development and has further training in cranio-sacral therapy, visceral work and acupuncture. She enjoys trying to keep fit by running, swimming and cycling

Bridget graduated from the university of East London in 1998 as a Chartered PhysiotherapistShe spent a number of years working within the N.H.S and public health services at London Teaching Hospitals, and she joined the Abbey Clinic in 2004.She has worked with various sporting teams at all levels from amateur to international. Such as the London Wasps Rugby Club and presently with the Welsh Hockey Teams, covering their European Championships in 2003, 2004 & 2006.Bridget has spent time treating people with a wide variety of Orthopaedic, Rheumatology, Musculo skeletal and sporting problems. She has completed several post graduate courses which have qualified her in the use of Acupuncture, Clinical Pilates and the Alexander TechniqueAdditionally, Bridget is a keen squash player and also practises Tai Chi.

Graduated 1994 from Brunel University College in Physiotherapy
2002 Manchester Metropolitan University MSc Sports Injury and Therapy

Rachel worked in the NHS for two years before working in a number of clinics both in the UK and Australia. She spent 2 years on the Isle of Man working both in private practice and hospitals before coming to work for the Abbey Clinic in 1999 where she has become a highly valued member of the team

She has worked with numerous sports, some of the highlights being T.T. and Manx Grand Prix 1997 and 1998, and the England lacrosse team in 1999-2001, including the World Cup in 2001. Within the clinic she has been involved in the treatment and screening of numerous atheletes, in rowing, tennis, hockey, ten pin bowling, badminton, and disabled equestrian team.

She has always been keen on continual professional development and completed her Masters in Sports Injury and therapy in 2002. She has a keen interest in rehabilitation and incorporating in clinical pilates, she enjoys lecturing to various clubs, and [Rachel] in the past has been an external speaker at Oxford Brookes University
