Mr David Such

Specialisations:
  Osteopathy
Biography:
Principal Osteopath David Such graduated from the British School of Osteopathy with a Master of Osteopathy with Distinction. David’s passion for Osteopathy and helping people is immediately obvious on talking to him. He believes that Osteopathy is so much more than just rubbing muscles and mobilising joints – it is a safe and highly effective approach to treating patients and to help return them to their optimal function. At David Such Osteopathy, David enjoys treating a wide variety of patients from a range of backgrounds, from early years onwards. The excellent facilities in the K2 sports centre means that an osteopath working on rehabilitating patients after injury or surgery is made that much easier and helps to prevent problems from reoccurring. David has a keen interest in sports and fitness and will help patients be able to continue their chosen sport or simply to keep mobile. During treatment David uses a range of approaches including: massage, joint mobilisations, specific joint manipulations, positional & myofascial release techniques, dry needling and the subtle approaches of cranial techniques. David regularly attends seminars and external courses and is pro-active in keeping up-to-date with the latest research and manual therapy guidelines. Registered with the General Osteopathic Council and a member of the Institute of Osteopathy. First aid trained with British Red Cross.
Johnathan Gaffney - Associate Osteopath - at David Such Osteopathy

Mr Jonathan Gaffney

Specialisations:
  Osteopathy
Biography:
Associate Osteopath Jonathan is a recent graduate from the European School of Osteopathy with a background in sports such as football, badminton, weightlifting and Taekwondo. It is this background which fuelled his interest in health and fitness and ultimately a career in Osteopathy. Jonathan believes that Osteopathy is not only manual therapy, but an integrated therapy whereby lifestyle changes such as nutrition, exercise and stress management are key to recovery. Jonathan is a firm believer in a shared decision-making approach to treatment, putting the patient first and discussing the options of treatment available to you. He is qualified in dry needling and sports massage and has completed a one-year post in a paediatric and maternity clinic at university, treating patients of all ages from babies to expectant mothers. Jonathan has a special interest in pain management, understanding that it is an individual experience and your beliefs/anxiety about your injury can amplify the pain. He likes to keep up-to-date with research and guidelines for manual therapy and is fully registered with the General Osteopathic Council.
Miss Anastasia Snook - at David Such Osteopathy

Miss Anastasia Snook

Specialisations:
  Osteopathy
Biography:

Anastasia Snook graduated from the European School of Osteopathy in 2019, and is the newest addition to the team at David Such Osteopathy. Working as an Associate Osteopath, she covers Monday afternoon/evenings and Friday all-day in clinic.

Anastasia decided on a career in Osteopathy after a background in horse riding at high level competitions and experiencing Osteopathic treatment herself. She believes Osteopathy is not only manual therapy and considers the most effective treatment approach is one where the patient can be included in the decision making. This allows a specific management plan for each patient to help give them the best recovery. She likes to educate her patients by incorporating nutritional, exercise/rehabilitation or stress-related changes in their lifestyles into their treatments.

She is also qualified in dry needling and has a specific interest in Equine Osteopathy, treating horses and riders to help them in their sport. All Osteopaths are required to continue their learning throughout their career, and whilst working as an Associate Osteopath at David Such Osteopathy, Anastasia is also studying an equine and canine course to continue to specialise in her favourite area of Equine Osteopathy.
