Working from clinics in Amersham, Gerrards Cross, Chesham and Beaconsfield (Buckinghamshire).I treat all ages from newborn babies to the elderly, office workers to professional sports people. I aim to provide a professional service within a safe and caring environment and keep the patient at the centre of what I do.  ... I want people to know that I have their best interests at heart and aim to treat everyone I see with patience, understanding and empathy. When you walk out of the doors we want you to feel relief from any discomfort you had, encouraged, genuinely cared for and most importantly inspired to take responsibility for your own well-being.People will regularly come and see me for relief from back, neck and joint pain, sports injury, postural problems, tennis elbow, frozen shoulder, knee pain, sciatica, headaches and much more. So don't put up with that pain or discomfort.I use a variety of treatments according to the needs of the patient including: * Pilates based exercise* Postural & nutritional advice* Acupuncture * Mobilisations and joint manipulations* Soft tissue massage and stretching* Gentle fascial (connective tissue) techniques* Ultra sound and other electrotherapy* Variety of taping methods I tailor a treatment plan for a patient’s body and lifestyle - focusing not just on the cause of the pain, but also any maintaining factors (diet, poor posture, balance etc) that could cause the symptoms to linger. This involves the patient at all stages in th

Osteopathy is an established, recognised system of diagnosis and treatment that lays its main emphasis on the structural integrity of the body. It is distinctive in the fact that it recognises much of the pain and disability we suffer stems from abnormalities in the function of the body structure as well as damage caused to it by disease. It uses many of the diagnostic procedures used in conventional medical assessment and diagnosis. Its main strength however lies in the unique way the patient is assessed from a mechanical, functional and postural standpoint and the manual methods of treatment applied to suit the needs of the individual patient. Osteopaths use their hands both to investigate the underlying causes of pain and to carry out treatment using a variety of manipulative techniques. These may include muscle and connective tissue stretching, rhythmic joint movements or high velocity thrust techniques to improve the range of motion at a joint.

Always greeted with a smileRoberto, UK, 20 08 20

I only see Julian, always greeted with a smile, he is always brilliant and sorts my back out - it might take a few sessions but give it a chance. He took over Mario about 5 years ago but in my personal view, he is better and has brought a more modern view on the way he treats his patients. 5 stars.

Paediatric Osteopathy
Osteopath Consultation £30 - £40
We practise from Colnbrook and Maidenhead in Berkshire although home visits can be arranged and are  osteopaths and cranial osteopaths, working with all ages from babies to the elderly.  Osteopathy manually treats many conditions including back pain, joint pains, headaches, repetitive strain injuries, sleep issues, colic, depression and anxiety, not to mention treating systemic problems such as IBS and asthma.  Osteopaths use their hands to manipulate the body back to neutral for optimal health. Joints, muscles, ligaments and all the other anatomical structures are treated to restore health and maintain it, fighting away disease and pain.
Cranial Osteopathy £30 - £40
Cranial osteopathy works with the flow of fluids around the cranium. If there are restrictions in the flow then the nutrients and oxygen cannot reach the parts of the brain that are so crucially in need of it and stagnancy can occur. This often effects children and babies, disrupting sleep cycles and causing colic and can effect adults in many ways such as sinusitis or anxiety. Gentle treatments ease the restrictions away so that the fluids flow optimally.

On my first visit to Lynn, I was almost housebound due to generalised disabling pain, severe low back pain had left me fearing to mobilise. After just a few sessions my pain had reduced enough for me to start on my journey back to independence and my quality of life started to be restored. With Lynn's expert practical skills and knowledge, along with her empathy and gentleness, I feel safe and secure with her. I look forward to making even more progress.

The sports massage was very effective as 4 days later I am still feeling the benefitPauline, UK, 26 05 18

I had been training in the gym and was feeling a bit tight in a few places. Met with Sophie who examined me and diagnosed what needed to be done. The sports massage was very effective as 4 days later I am still feeling the benefit. Sophie also identified a couple of other issues for me to be aware of and to start doing some specific exercises to improve the problem areas. Very good. The clinic is in a house, but from the receptionist to the Physio everyone was polite, friendly and very helpful.

Our mission is to provide the highest standard ofosteopathic care so that all our patients have a positive experience.  We take time to listen to your needs because  we understand that experiencing pain or injury can be very stressful. Why choose us?   Our priority is to restore your health quickly andempower you with the ability to manage and ultimately preventfurther problems.  We achieve this through clinical experience and continual processional development.  What is Osteopathy? It is a system of diagnosis and treatment for a wide range of medical conditions.  It works with the structure and function of the body, and is based on the principle that the well-being of an individual depends on the skeleton, muscles, ligaments and connective tissues functioning smoothly together.    An osteopath believes that in order for your body to work well, its structure must also work well.  So osteopaths aim to restore your body to a state of balance, where possible without the use of drugs or surgery.    Professionalism and Safety In order to qualify asan osteopath, one muststudy for four or five years for an undergraduate degree, which is similar to amedical degree just with more emphasis on anatomy and musculoskeletalmedicine.  There is over 1,000 hours of training in osteopathic techniquealone!  In the UK Osteopaths, by law mustregister with the General Osteopathic Council (or GOsC for short) whichsets and promotes high standards of competency, conduct and safety.
