It’s great to have a qualified osteopath in Mumbai who’s competent as well as caring 5 5 0
There are three osteopaths listed in Mumbai, and this was the only one that responded to me after I made the inquiry. I went for a consultation and the treatment was worth the money. It was my first time visiting this clinic, and I got the distinct impression that the doctor knew what she was doing. The clinic is quite small - there are only two offices inside - but it’s perfectly clean and all the staff were polite and helpful. The service was both professional and friendly. It’s great to have a qualified osteopath in Mumbai who’s competent as well as caring.
Thank you very much Kirsten :)

I went to Ankita for back pain that was troubling me for months on end. She's a gifted Osteopath and her fingers really seemed to have worked like magic for me. She takes the time out to explain the problem in simple terms in order to reassure me. Highly recommend.

Happy now I have a treatment plan 5 5 0 Osteopath Consultation
Mathilde Richou is a very professional Osteopath, who is naturally attentive and caring. She is a rare find! I am very happy I now have a treatment plan to sort out my aches and pains and very much look forward to continuing sessions. The clinic is in a modern building and is a relaxing place. It is a bit off the beaten track but well known in Vile Parle East. I highly recommend the clinic to anyone wanting high quality Osteopathic treatment.

Job Title: Doctor
Specialisations: Acupuncture, Osteopathy
Languages: English, Gujarati Biography: Ankita has always been interested
in the human body and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. She previously gained a
degree in Biomedical Science at Brunel University, however Ankita’s passion for
osteopathy remained. An interest for
osteopathy derived from witnessing her mother suffer from chronic lower back
pain for over 10 years, whereby she consistently attempted to aid her needs.
Ankita graduated from the British
School of Osteopathy with a Masters of Osteopathy. She strongly believes in a
holistic and completely tailored approach to treatment. She is passionate about
allowing patients to improve, understand and promote self-management of their
conditions. Ankita enjoys working with patients of all ages and has a
particular interest in pregnancy and postpartum care.
She uses a variety of osteopathic
techniques ranging from; soft
tissue massage, joint manipulation and articulatory techniques including pain
free joint movement and muscle energy techniques, in addition to medical
acupuncture.
During the course of her degree,
Ankita undertook a voluntary work placement in India alongside a
Physiotherapist. Since then, she has been progressively interested in promoting
osteopathy as a complementary medicine in India as she believes osteopathy is a
great way to relieve musculoskeletal pain and to understand the mind and body
together.
