Dublin Acupuncture Clinic is a personal and private clinic based in Malahide providing Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) treatments. At the practice, we treat a wide variety of conditions including Fertility, Pain Management, Anxiety, Stress & Arthritis.  All treatments are carried out in complete confidence.  We offer a free consultation to those that are new to acupuncture & TCM in order to see if we can help you.  This session lasts approximately 30 minutes.

AcuWell is an Acupuncture Clinic which won the WhatClinic Customer Service Award five consecutive years: 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014. Conditions treated include back pain, fertility issues (IVF, endometriosis, PCOS, PMT, Low Ovarian Reserve, etc), pregnancy related issues, migraine, sinusitis, neck pain, sports injuries, support during treatment for cancer, anxiety, stress, insomnia, in addition to the remaining 40 common conditions which the W.H.O. recognises as responding well to acupuncture. AcuWell founder, Maria Maher, originally studied acupuncture because it helped relieve the negative side effects she experienced from chemotherapy and radiotherapy treatment following surgery to remove a brain tumour. She has a special interest in fertility & pregnancy and has trained with fertility and pregnancy experts Zita West, Jani White, Debra Betts, Dr. Trevor Wing and Sarah Budd. She received a Diploma (with Distinction) in TCM Gynaecology & Obstetrics - Acupuncture from Dr. Trevor Wing. Maria is a founder-member of the Zita West affiliated acupuncturist network, established in Ireland in 2009, and is a founder member of AFPI (Acupuncture for Fertility & Pregnancy Ireland). She also has a Diploma in Chinese Herbal Medicine. AcuWell clinic in Ranelagh is open on Saturdays & Sundays, by appointment, for IVF embryo transfers. AcuWell also has a clinic in Athlone, Co. Westmeath on Wednesdays. Acupuncture treatments are recognised by Irish health insurers.

Dr Fionnula McHale is a qualified medical doctor specialising in Functional Medicine. She takes an integrative and holistic approach to chronic disease as well as focusing on optimum health using nutrition, exercise and lifestyle interventions. Dr. McHale views health as a positive vitality rather than just the absence of disease. Full nutrition, hormone and genetic testing available through Genova Diagnostics. Intravenous Nutritional Therapy also available.
