The nurses there are simply amazing, they made sure at all times that I been taken care ofLaura, Germany, 28 01 23It was 2019 when I made the decision that I wanted to get a BBL. So while I was saving money up I was reading reviews, watching TikToks and Youtube and after a while it was clear, that I am getting it done in turkey. With Vanity I had a good feeling from the start.
They definitely had the most experience, they could answer all my questions and were sending me multiple before/after pictures. You know these girls who get BBLs and then come out looking like they have a big diaper on? None of their results were looking like that. So I made a little advance payment and booked my flights (can recommend turkish airlines here).
Everything was organized, got picked up from the airport and then we went for the blood test to the academic hospital in Üsküdar. The nurses there are simply amazing, they made sure at all times that I been taken care of. When I met my surgeon Dr. Safa the first time, I had a good feeling. Competent, knows what hes talking about, explaining to me what is realistically possible and a little bit of an arrogant attitude (thats how you know if a surgeon is good).
So I had a BMI of 25 and he figured a plan out for what areas of my body we can take the fat and make my butt bigger. Now its 7,5 months post surgery and I can say for sure.. the plan worked out. Its soft and jiggly, looks nothing like an actual BBL, it looks completely natural but its still so much bigger than before and I AM IN LOVE!
I went alone to get it done, but I had a tummy tuck in Czech and a breast lift with augmentation as well, a couple of years prior, after I got my son. So I knew how I would feel after surgery and also I have a pretty high pain tolerance. Don't go there alone if you're completely unprepared. They offered me to take someone with me, the hotel room was paid for two people.
So you can take a friend, or your partner, your mom or whoever, if you're scared to be alone. I've read some bad reviews as well, and I have to say I can't relate at all. I was being taken care of 100%. My consultant Elif was available for me the whole stay. She hit me up every day and asked about my well being.
I found some friends there at the hotel with who I was hanging out the time after the hospital and we went to the mall, took walks together and everything. I don't know why people think they can come out alone here while being big cry babies, and expect staying in a hospital for the whole post care time. I stayed one night at the hospital and then went back to the hotel.
I booked the massages with a nurse who came to my hotel room every evening, changed the drainages and gave me lymph drain massages. That wasn't expensive at all and its highly recommended to get such massages done after surgery. I even continued with those when I got back to Germany. I can give everybody the advice to inform yourself very well about the procedure. Watch tiktoks and youtube, read reviews and talk to people, who got it done before. Everything else is taken care of.
I will come back for my second round of BBL and I will do it with Vanity again, no question. Thanks again to Elif, Dr. Safa, the staff from the Mercure hotel in Üsküdar and the nurses from the academic hopsital. Sending much love your way!
