I have been using reading glasses for 6 years since the age of 42. My eye disorder was so advanced that I could not even see inside my car without glasses and see anything while I was driving. I also had a little bit of astigmatism. I have researched LASIK or Presbyopia Lasik surgery a lot, but all the doctors I went, they told me that they could not perform LASIK surgery and I should have lens replacement. So I did not want to have cataract surgery at this young age and after my research, I learned that there may be a lot of side effects related to Cataract surgery, I decided not to have Cataract surgery. In June 2019 when I was 48 years old, I met with Dr.Oktay Kumral and he suggested me Presbyopia LASIK surgery and I learned that He was one of the most experienced laser eye surgeons in Europe. He gave me very detailed information about the procedure. After I learned that the Excimer Laser equipment used by Dr.Oktay Kumral is the state of the art technology. Finally, I decided to have Laser surgery. Dr.Oktay Kumral did my Presbyopia Lasik Surgery within 15 minutes, and I started to read and see without glasses right after the operation! He also treats my Astigmatism at the same time. I did not experience much pain, aches or problems during and after the surgery. It was truly an amazing experience for me. Now I can read everything without glasses and now my quality of life is the same as before. I would like to recommend Dr Kumral for every Presbyopia Patients who want to get rid of Reading Glasses. My experience with Dr Ulas and his amazing team was extremely positive. From the minute that I decided to go to Turkey to have my procedure done and started to do my own research, I was very blessed that I stumbled across Dr Ulas and Rabia❤️ my beautiful patient coordinator/translator. Communication was on point from the beginning to the end of my journey, I felt I was given all the information needed before I made my decision. Had a video call with both Rabia and Dr Ulas to determine what can be done. The day I arrived to Turkey 🇹🇷 I was taken to the hotel which was a superb choice 6 stars hotel.Then straight to blood test. After Rabia came to the hotel and explained in details what to expect with an amazing Turkish coffee. We then had plenty of time to kill we had mad half a day shopping and exploring Istanbul before early surgery admission the next day. On the day I met Dr Ulas, very calm which made me feel very comfortable. He went through the surgery details with me I felt very very safe in their hands. The hospital staff were very friendly and helpful. Recovery was shockingly quick, I was able to go to the market 3rd day after surgery I felt absolutely fine.
