To diagnose hearing loss and to find out which treatment options are most suitable, a number of routine screenings and tests are necessary. These tests can be done at all ages—even with newborn children.Using modern audiological testing equipment, our Audiologist will conduct a detailed diagnosis and will initiate all additional necessary clinical examinations to get a comprehensive overview of your condition. After all examinations have been completed, the hearing implant team will give you a detailed briefing and will suggest the optimal solution to fit your needs.
ENT Specialist Consultation  
ENT doctors largely specialise in different aspects of ear, nose and throat care. At hearLIFE Clinic we are dedicating ourselves to the treatment of hearing loss related problems. Our specialists will look at your individual medical history and examine the functions of your ear. An otoscope is used to examine the ears and illuminate the eardrum, so that the surgeon can identify normal landmarks and pathology. In addition the use of tuning forks as a gauge of hearing may sometimes be used as part of the consultation. However, sometimes it is required to undertake formal hearing tests to ascertain a more exact level of hearing, which are then undertaken by our Audiologist. Occasionally the eardrum and canal need to be viewed under magnification and a microscope can be used to provide this. The microscope allows for binocular vision, depth of field and the use of microsuction if necessary, to remove wax or debris from an ear canal.
Septoplasty  
Septoplasty is a surgical procedure done to correct the nasal septum, which devides the two nostrils. During the procedure the nasal septum is straightened and repositioned in the middle of the nose.

David is very professional and friendly. I visited the centre last year for micro suction wax removal and posed quite a challenge for him. After a long time of suffering hearing loss was delighted with the results. I have just been back to him for the same treatment and again, very friendly and efficient. David also fitted my elderly mum with hearing aids last year, after years of not being able to be involved in group conversations, it has changed her life. They fit so well and comfortably she forgets she is wearing them. I would highly recommend David at Bramhall, nothing is too much trouble for him and he offers such a personal and friendly service.
