Job Title: Principal Dentist
Specialisations: Implantology, Oral Surgery Biography: Richard qualified from the University of Sheffield in 1987, since when he has undertaken extensive postgraduate education, mainly in restorative dentistry. In 2005 he completed the Certificate in Implant Dentistry on the world renowned, eighteen-month, one-to-one Implant Course at the University of Sheffield . In 2011 Richard completed his Master of Medical Science in Dental Implantology.
Richard has undergone training from Europe’s top clinicians in hard and soft tissue manipulation, involving bone grafting and aesthetics. To date, he has successfully placed and restored over 850 implants and is an active member of the Association of Dental Implantology. Richard has also been a trainer dentist for the last ten years, and in recognition of his experience and abilities, he has been made a mentor for Nobel Biocare.
Dr Rod Broadberry
Job Title: Dentist Biography: Rod qualified from Sheffield University in 1987. He gained experience at a number of practices within the NHS before joining the team at Swallownest.
Dr Holly McGarry
Job Title: Oral Surgeon Biography: BDS (Sheff) MJDF RCS (Eng) Holly qualified from the University of Sheffield in 2013. After graduating, she completed her Foundation Training at a mixed NHS/private practice in Sheffield, she then joined the team here in Swallownest in August 2014. At present, Holly is undertaking further postgraduate studies in the MJDF examinations. She has a particular interest in restorative dentistry and orthodontics.
