About Edinburgh denture clinic

About the Practice:

Edinburgh Denture Clinic was the first legally registered practice of its kind in Scotland.

Roger McLachlan CDT, RCS  was the very first "Clinical dental technician" in Scotland and is fully registered with General Dental Council (GDC) and is an associate member of the Royal College of Surgeons.

We do a complete range of denture work from new denture construction to denture repairs.

Here is a list of some of our services -

New dentures, denture repairs, denture relines and soft linings, chrome cobalt and titanium dentures. Colour toning in the pink plastic gum work so that it doesn't look like a lump of plastic,Additions to dentures. None- allergenic dentures for those with an allergy to ordinary acrylics.

EMERGENCY DENTURE REPAIR SERVICE

Dentures repaired within the hour.

(Unless glue has been used by the patient, in which case we need to see the denture to access if it can still be repaired.)

It has been over 30 years since I have had my dentures. Being embarrassed by this I knew it was time to get new dentures. My first visit was amazing and I was made to feel comfortable about the procedure. Within a week of my denture appointments I have my new teeth and I am soo happy. Thank you for giving me not only my smile back but my confidence. Very very highly recommended.

This is a great place to go. Rodger is so nice, he was very busy but fixed my denture, and got it perfect. Nothing is too much trouble to him. I will be going there in the future.

Studied with George Brown College in Toronto and then upgraded the qualifications with the KSS Deanery in Kent and the Royal College of Surgeons of England.

Qualified as a Dental Technician in 1989 and worked in Carlingnose Dental Laboratory for over 24 years before upgrading to the Clinical Dental Technician qualification in 2006 and since then has been keeping up to date in all Continual Professional Development as required by the General Dental Council and any technical and clinical developments within the profession.
