I have been coming to this practice for many years and have always had excellent treatment. I have just had treatment which has made a vast improvement to my front teeth. Happy to smile for photos now! Highly recommend this practice.

My teeth feel brilliant after seeing Viktor the Hygienist. I also had a dental check-up with Bob and Paul. They were both really professional and friendly. I have always used this dental practice and will continue to do so.

My husband has had prep for new crown and reconstruction of tooth.

He would thoroughly recommend Dr Davies for his skill and excellent chair manners. Costing was very fair.
One happy patient. Was recommended by neighbour.
First impressions good,staff professional and dental nurse good..

Could not have been more welcoming

4.5 50 Dentist Consultation, Fillings

Replacement filling. I contacted the surgery as an 'emergency' and received an appointment within 4 hours of making my telephone call. The dentist and her assistant could not have been more welcoming and thoroughly explained what work needed to be carried out. The 'dentist fear' factor does not apply in this clinic.

I have used this clinic for over 30 years and have found the practice very efficiently and professionally run. It is within a 15-minute walk for me, the practice being situated in the Fareham Town Centre.

Rhodri Davies

Biography:
Rhodri’s interest in dentistry started with school work experience at his local dentist in Brecon. After qualifying from Cardiff Dental School in 1999 he was asked to return to Brecon where he remained as an associate for the next few years gaining experience in a busy family practice with specific interest in minor oral surgery and Orthodontics. In 2002 Rhodri became an associate at a prestigious cosmetic practice in the City of London to pursue his interest in cosmetic dentistry. A few years later the draw of the South Coast led him to become an associate at Westleigh Dental and then a partner in 2006. Since then Rhodri has had the pleasure of taking over from long-serving partners Ian Hallam MBE and Paul Shill and continuing the principles of longterm preventive family dentistry while always looking for new ways to improve the health and appearance of a smile. In his time away from Westleigh Rhodri enjoys every minute with his young family and is an avid follower of Welsh Rugby.

BDS GDC no. 61546 Gill comes from a medical background , her father having been a consultant at St Mary’s Hospital , Portsmouth. She qualified from Cardiff Dental School in 1986 and worked at Queen Alexandra Hospital before moving into general dental practice. Having worked in a variety of practices to broaden her dental horizons , including a year in Australia , Gill joined Westleigh Dental in 1995 . Gill is now the longest serving partner. Gill thoroughly enjoys general dental practice and has significant experience in a wide spectrum of dental disciplines. A special interest in treating nervous patients and in cosmetic procedures to improve smiles has proved very popular over the years . Gill keeps up to date with developments in dentistry by regularly attending post graduate courses. Gill has two young children and in her leisure time enjoys sailing , tennis and cycling.

Martin gained his Primary Dental Degree with honour’s at Trinity College, Dublin before spending some time at Bristol University gaining a Postgraduate Diploma and a further Master’s Degree in Dental Implantology with Merit. He has also qualified as a Dental Practice Appraiser at the Royal College of Surgeons. He is the visiting dentist for Hampshire Hospitals Foundation Trust and the visiting implantologist for two dental practices in North Hampshire. Martin lives near Winchester with his wife, Philippa, and three young daughters. “Coming to see a new dentist for the first time can be a bit daunting. People worry that the dentist will tell them off or try to ‘sell’ them a lot of unnecessary work. It’s something I am very aware of and strive to give everyone a warm welcome. There will be no lectures, just honest friendly advice and encouragement for you to decide how you want your dentistry to be provided.”
