Dr Esther Won is born in Korea but has grown up in Korea, USA, Canada and New Zealand.
She graduated from the University of Otago in New Zealand with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) and she has been working in Singapore for more than 5 years now. She is well known for her gentle and caring approach as she puts patients at ease and makes the visit to the dentist a more pleasing and comfortable experience.
Her philosophy is to treat her patients as she would to be treated: with compassion, honesty, respect, and the most up to date high-quality treatments.
Dr Esther is very passionate about providing treatments that achieve long term solutions while being ever mindful of patients’ overall health and well-being.
Being effectively bilingual, she will make sure you understand all the treatment options transparently in English, as well as in Korean, that are best for you and your situation.
Her commitment to providing quality dental care is evident in her unstinting efforts toward continuing education both locally and internationally.
She has completed an orthodontic training programme (Part-time, 2 years) in Singapore and also is a certified Invisalign provider to help her patients regain their smile and confidence through a combination of Orthodontics and Esthetic Dentistry.
Also, as a member of American Academy of Implant Dentistry, her passion in Implant Dentistry is evident in the 12 trips to Korea within 1 year period taken to complete the 300+ hours-course.
As a Christian, Dr Esther is passionate about overseas dental mission work as she actively volunteers to provide free dental treatment in underprivileged communities in Cambodia, Indonesia, Thailand, and Myanmar few times a year.
