One afternoon in 2017, I was in deep depression and Sobrang demotivated. I have no will to try new things. I was having a quarter-life crisis, nothing was panning out of my plan, and in the middle of my mental dilemma, my tooth was aching so bad I couldn't sleep. I was frustrated because I am losing my teeth one by one. No confidence. Nothing. I was on the floor with tears in my eyes when I decided enough is enough. I told him I am from a poor family and dental hygiene is not part of our monthly budget growing up and I was working in the Corp world, I feel ashamed of my overall appearance - that even if I think I can get promoted I refused to move forward because I have no confidence. He said he understands and indeed he did. He not only helped me fixed my aching tooth but also made me a new set of front dentures. From a depressed girl who is having a quarter-life crisis to a social media of smiling photos with full-on confidence to conquer the world. Doc Lim thinks he changed my smile but he changed my life.
