from Alabama, Dr. Virginia Melmed maintains dental practitioner
licenses in California and Israel. She is a member of the American
Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the Israel Dental Association, the Anglo
Dental Study Club in Jerusalem and a historical member of the Academy of
General Dentistry.
Dr. Virginia Melmed received her D.D.S. degree in 2004 from University of California, Los
Angeles (UCLA) School of Dentistry, where she was awarded the Dean's
Scholarship for her academic and leadership excellence, and graduated
cum laude from Vanderbilt University in mathematics and chemistry.
Born
with congenitally missing lateral incisors, Dr. Melmed has experienced
first-hand the positive impact that dentistry can have on one's quality
of life and became passionate about dental esthetics at a young age.
