Great Clinic. Very popular hence long waiting lists but the Receptionist will always fit you in early using the Cancellation lists. Very good diagnostic and all Treatments use the latest technologies and are excellent, we had most of them over the years. My, I and family have been using Alexandra Dental for 12 years. They are wonderful with children and have the TV on the ceilings for them to watch during treatments. Highly recommended.

A crown covers, or "caps", a tooth to restore its normal shape and size. It will provide full coverage of the underlying tooth hence strengthening and improving the appearance of a tooth. Crowns are necessary when a tooth is extensively broken down. If a tooth is cracked it is often is the only treatment option available. It will hold the tooth together and protect it so the damage doesnt get worse. If a tooth has been root treated we may often recommend a crown as the resulting tooth will be weak, brittle and liable to fracture.

I went to Shields dental as I had a cracked dental bridge I was extremely nervous that there was damage done to my teeth underneath. Cormac was so professional and made me feel confident that it would be ok. I came away with a temporary bridge and had a replacement fitted 2 weeks later. Cormac is skilled and professional and can highly recommend the practice.

Hi I had a lot of pain with my wisdom tooth and was recommended Dr.Aidan Higgins and he is such a compassionate guy and made me feel so at ease and welcomed me and his nurse also.A lovely caring guy and I can say I have never met a dentist like him and with covid-19 also he has the highest standards and you will feel very safe at his dentist .So I had my wisdom tooth out and didn’t feel anything he was so gentle and so good.Thanking god for this guy.I attended his dentist on the 02/05/2020.Thanking you again Dr.Aidan Higgins.

For the last few weeks I went back to Noonans dentist as with the lock no one could go anywhere for over two years. I've been suffering with my teeth I could barely eat and drinking anything I would still be in pain. Well the reason I'm putting my comment- Evan is the one that looked after me. I had alot done with my teeth and not once have I suffered any pain he's so gentle I would really like to thank him very much as some people are nervous about dentists which I am but I can't really thank him so much. Thank you Evan.

We are a general practice offering all various treatments including root canal treatments, crown and bridgework, whitening and gum treatment. Nuala Cagney our Principle Dentist qualified as a Dental Surgeon in 1993. She has recently obtained a Post graduate Diploma in Clinical Dentistry following a 2 year course in Trinity College, Dublin. This has increased Nuala’s Clinical skills enabling her to perform more specialised treatments in a General dental practice setting. We have recently introduced Solus pro in surgery 1 hour bleaching, an intensive Bleaching process with amazing results. Dental Health maintenance is of special importance to us, with this in view we have introduced a Dental Maintenance Plan providing people with an easy pay option for Dental maintenance and reduced rates for all dental treatment.
