I lived in Costa Rica, Puerto Viejo, many years ago and was familiar with the outstanding dentistry this country provides. So of course when I found myself in need of extensive work, this is the only place I trusted. Having grown up with American dentists, I have horrible memories and avoided them at all costs. While shopping for dentists here, I had the good fortune to connect with Cristina who works for Dr Urzola. She is initially the reason I chose Dr Urzola out of them all. I couldn't have made a better choice. Even before I arrived, Dr Urzola took the time to call me many times to go over what I needed and gave me sound advice as to what treatment plan was best. Every single person in this practice is kind, infinitely helpful and Dr Urzola goes above and beyond to make sure I'm satisfied. The office is beautiful, centrally located, easy to find, and a mere 5 minute drive by Uber from where I stayed. I had the first phase of a total reconstructive surgery, which includes sedated (my choice) extractions, many full mouth 360° imagery, molds, medications and temporary teeth which will allow me to eat and smile for the first time in years. I will be returning in approximately 3 months, after the healing process, for my forever, permanent teeth. I couldn't be more pleased. Plus, Dr Urzola's prices are beyond competitive. I felt pampered and looked after from the moment his chauffeur picked me up from the airport. I'm looking forward to coming back soon, and I promise this: Voy a hablar mucho más español! I recently returned from Costa Rica where I completed upper and lower tooth implants. Before I selected which clinic to perform the process I did spent a lot of time in the selection process. My parameters in selection included the location as far as country, a state of the art facility, fair price, and a doctor who educated in the United States had specialized training in implant technology arena. I am pleased to recommend Dr…..located in San Jose. He and his staff had everything that was important to me. My time spent during the process was made especially comfortable with the help of a very special person, Gabriel, who was always there when I needed transportation, medication, or just advice and answer my many questions. This clinic really is the best!

Dr. Gadea Ramirez is an exceptionally talented dentist. From my initial consultation and smile analysis, he explained corrective procedures in detail with absolutely no pressure as to what he can do and for how much. I had two implants, three crowns and seven veneers done. My smile wasn't bad to begin with, but now it is amazing. He is an exceptional detail orientated dentist, he wants your teeth to look and feel like perfect teeth. He uses only the best materials available in the USA. His office has the very best and newest dental imaging, x-ray and procedural equipment and his staff are all very friendly and kind. I highly recommend Dr. Gadea to anyone needing or wanting a nice smile or dental surgery completed. I saved so much money over what this would have cost me in the US (and my son is a Dentist !!). Costa Rica is an incredibly beautiful country once you get outside of San Jose. My wife and I spent over two and half weeks and fell in love with the country. We can't wait to go back and we will most likely spend a month there. Pura Vida !!

I went to their clinic in early February. They did a great job an no editing around like most dental clinics. I ended getting a dry sicket which messed my schedule up but they went out of their way to get me back and going. The work was excellent and I highly recommend them. They are professional and accommodating.

Amazing!! And that's an understatement. Everyone from Geovanna who I was in first contact with to Sergio who dropped me off at the airport was top notch professionals and extremely pleasant. The Drs did an amazing job getting my smile back. Without even noticing it I was self-conscious of my smile having used tobacco for 30+ years. They guided me to the best product for me, which was actually cheaper than what we initially agreed on, a sign of an excellent healthcare practice. It was definitely less painful than I thought it would be and did a great job with local anaesthesia, I'm a huge tooth pain wimp. From start to finish could not imagine a better experience. I will be referring my friends, family and patients to use them. I go back in 6 months for the permanent teeth and really looking forward to it. Thanks.
