Dental Bridges

A bridge is a classic way of restoring a missing tooth (or teeth) where the teeth adjacent to the gap on each side are capped and an artificial tooth (or teeth) is (are) made to fill the gap and attaches to the adjacent caps. They all come in one piece from the dental lab, and are directly cemented to the teeth and cannot be removed by the patient.

Dental Crowns

Crowns (caps) are used to cover an entire tooth to make it more resistant to fracture during function. Weak teeth (teeth that had very wide and big fillings, or teeth that had root canal treatment) can survive for longer time when capped.

Dental Implants

Implants are used to restore missing teeth, whether it is one missing tooth, or a group of missing teeth. They can also be used to support dentures and keep them firmly in place restoring most of the function of missing natural teeth.

Dental Sealant

Sealants are a very thin film of filling material that flows and plugs the crevices and irregularities on the chewing surface of the teeth to prevent food and bacteria from hiding in those areas starting tooth decay.

Dental X-Ray

Digital Dental X-Ray

Dental x-rays are a very important diagnostic tool. Without x-rays, diagnosing early cavities that can be treated with simple fillings, would be impossible. In addition, they provide important information about the condition of the tooth supporting bone, which is an important part of your oral health check up. Digital x-rays allow us to get a very good quality image with a fraction of the radiation used with regular x-rays, making dental x-rays better and much safer for the patients and the staff.

Dentures

Dentures are appliances that replace missing teeth. There are several types of dentures, including partial dentures, which can use the remaining teeth as anchors while restoring the missing teeth, and the complete dentures, which restore all teeth. Dentures can also be supported on implants, and in this case, they can either be designed to stay in place (can only be removed by the dentist), or can be removable, so the patient can also remove them from time to time.

Extractions

When a tooth is decayed or broken to the point that makes it impossible to restore, extraction of the tooth is the only option. Sometimes teeth can also be removed for other reasons, for example, to make room for other teeth during orthodontic treatment (braces).

Fillings

Fillings are needed to restore teeth to shape and function after natural tooth structure is lost due to decay, trauma, wear, etc.

Cavities or tooth decay, are by far the most common reason to need fillings. We now have the advantages of bonding tooth colored filling materials to teeth for the most natural look and the best results.

Hygienist Session

Regular cleaning appointments are crucial to maintain your oral health. Over time, tartar builds up on the teeth surfaces preventing you from totally removing the bacteria laden plaque film on the surface of the teeth. This bacterial film is the culprit in gum disease and tooth decay. More recently, gum disease has also been linked to more serious conditions such as heart disease. In addition to your cleaning, the dentist check up is also very important to detect any changes to your oral health which helps prevent problems, including tooth loss or even oral cancer.

Root canals

Root canal treatments are often required to save a tooth that has an inflamed, infected or dead nerve. The most common example is when a cavity is left untreated and the decay has reached the nerve of the tooth, sudden severe pain can occur due to the pressure inside the tooth. If there is enough healthy tooth structure at that point, root canal treatment is usually the procedure of choice.

Sedation for dental treatments

Fear of the dentist is very common in North America and is unfortunately one of the reasons why people end up losing teeth that could have been saved if they didnt avoid the dentist. This is why several sedation options are available nowadays to help make the dental experience much more comfortable and pleasant. We offer sedation, as well as Oral sedation by using (swallowed pills). The choice will depend on several factors, including your general health, level of fear, amount of work that needs to be done, etc.. If you have been avoiding the dentist for many years because of fear, give us a call today for your free sedation consultation.

Teeth Whitening

Whitening is one of the most common cosmetic procedures performed. It is done using a special gel that is kept in contact with the teeth and can either be light activated in the office for 1-2 hours for faster results, or can be used at home for 1-2 weeks.

Home Whitening Kits

Veneers

Veneers are very commonly used to enhance the look of the teeth. If the front teeth are slightly crooked or unevenly spaced, chipped, discolored, etc. A very thin layer, made of tooth colored material, can be placed on the surface of the teeth to change their shape and color and to give you a smile make-over in just 1 or 2 dental visits.
