Sleep Dentistry

Dental options may be available for you if you snore or have sleep apnea. The first step in treating snoring or sleep apnea is to test and determine exactly what level of problem you have. You may arrange for a home sleep study with a sleep clinic, or we can arrange a referral for you. Based on your result, we will discuss your options, and offer a dental appliance or put you in touch with an Ear Nose and Throat specialist to address issues that may not respond to dental appliance therapy. The most common sleep appliance used at Atlantic Dental is the Somnodent appliance. Other appliance options may suit you as well. Care is taken to tailor appliance to suit your needs.
