Biography:
Dr. Athar Butt did his undergraduate studies at McMaster University earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry. He then earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Western Ontario, while also being accepted into the Dental Officer Training program through the Canadian Forces. Upon completion of dental school in 2005, Dr. Butt was posted to the Canadian Forces Base in Edmonton. In 2011, he was then posted to CFB Esquimalt on Vancouver Island. Serving in the Canadian Forces, he also has had the opportunity to work in conjunction with a variety of dental specialists that include a Periodontist, an Oral Surgeon and a Prosthodontist. In July 2012, after 10 years of service to his country, Dr. Butt released from the Forces and settled in the lovely city of Langley, B.C.
