Thigh Lift

Although weight control through diet and exercise is most important, many structural changes cannot be corrected through any method other than surgery. In cases where a large amount of excessive skin is present in the form of folds, liposuction alone will not give satisfactory results. The excessive skin must be removed along an incision (thigh lift) which is usually located within a bathing suit line at the level of a crease. Stretch marks may be improved, but can never be entirely eliminated.

The patient considering thigh lift surgery should be in general good health and weight should be reasonable. Gloria Esegbona is a UK born and trained specialist obstetrician & gynaecologist, Winston Churchill fellow, academic, & educator. She is skilled in high risk intrapartum care and with specialist experience in prevention and management of a wide range of birth trauma. Over the past 15 years she has trained as an obstetric fistula surgeon, set up birth units and services in Africa, advocated for birth rights, trained hundreds of birth workers and birthed thousands of mothers in the UK, Australia, and several African countries including Malawi, Kenya & Nigeria.


As a result Gloria have worked alongside amazing birth experts and mothers learning midwifery, obstetrics, physiology, surgery, biomechanics, pelvic floor ultrasound among others.
