He trained at King's College London and the internationally recognised breast units of Nottingham and Cardiff. He has been responsible for introducing and developing a portfolio of training courses at The Royal College of Surgeons of England to ensure quality training for the breast surgeons of the future. As an executive member of the Association of Breast Surgeons, he has contributed to the local and national political drive to improve breast care in the UK in an even and equitable manner and as chairman of the 'Patient safety committee' has demonstrated his belief in ensuring patient advocacy and safety.

With this personal background of extensive clinical experience Mr Galea believes there is a need for a new type of breast surgery company; offering only breast surgery, individually tailored to client's needs and wishes, delivered by UK trained Specialist Breast Surgeons committed to high standards and quality outcomes.
