They were extremely fair, honest and upfront with pricing

5 50 Plastic Surgeon Consultation

This hospital is utterly INCREDIBLE. Dr Piyawat is an absolutely brilliant doctor. They took a very grim and complex situation and completely transformed it for the better! They performed 2 life safe saving surgeries and helped with an absolutely perfect patient repatriation to Australia. Everyone I spoke to was so professional, courteous, the communication was flawless which in a non-English speaking country was a HUGE RELIEF! They were extremely fair, honest and upfront with pricing. Dr Piyawat went above and beyond to help my uncle and my family and we will be forever grateful. If you ever know of a non-Thai resident who finds themselves in need of medical assistance in Thailand I would not even think twice about where to go for help. Five stars is not enough!!!!

None can compare in the quality of the doctors and the efficiency and friendliness of the nurses

5 50 Plastic Surgeon Consultation

Samitivej Hospital is the best hospital I have ever been treated at, very reasonable prices. Previous to that I had major surgery in American and German hospitals. None can compare in the quality of the doctors and the efficiency and friendliness of the nurses. I will never be treated anywhere but at Samitivej, Sukumvit, Bangkok

Blood Pressure Monitoring

Blood pressure

Staff is good, doctors too, minor incident with staff that didnt get what I was explaining, overall much better than Europe. Am very concerned about the way they clean their air conditioning, as a friend of mine did show me photos and explained that they were not doing anything about it.

Very caring and gentle

5 50 Facelift, Neck Lift, Liposuction, Scar Removal
Were you pleased with the treatment?

Facelift, Neck Lift, Liposuction, Scar Removal

The treatment was excellent. The staff were very caring and gentle. For a midface lift, neck lift liposuction to both cheeks large scar reduction to my forehead, two nights stay in hospital and all follow up appointments the total cost was AUD $10,000.

Would you recommend the clinic?

The staff were very courteous. Slight language barrier with some staff, but was never an issue. I was able to still communicate my needs without any problems.

Would you return for further treatment?

It was a very positive experience. Yes I would return for further treatment and will be recommending others.

Plastic Surgery

Facelift

Your cosmetic or plastic surgeon will evaluate your face, skin and underlying bone structure, and also discuss the expected outcome of the surgery at your first consultation. Your current medical condition will also be evaluated, to assess whether any issues such as uncontrolled high blood pressure, blood clotting problems, or the tendency to form excessive scars are likely to cause problems during or after surgery. If you are a smoker or take any medications or drugs (especially aspirin or other drugs that could affect clotting) please ensure you inform your surgeon during the consultation. Before cosmetic surgery, your surgeon will give you specific instructions on how to prepare for surgery and also guidelines on eating, drinking, smoking and taking or avoiding certain vitamins and medications. For a smoker, you should stop smoking at least 1-2 weeks before and after surgery, because smoking inhibits blood flow to the skin and can interfere with the healing of your incision areas. You may let your hair grow out to hide the scars while they heal.

Liposuction

Your cosmetic surgeon (plastic surgeon) will evaluate your medical history, the areas of fat deposits to be removed, and the condition and elasticity of the skin. The targeted areas are marked on the body while the patient is in a standing position. Sometimes photos are taken so the patient can see the ‘before and after’ effect of the surgery. As with all surgery, liposuction carries some risks. These risks can vary according to a patient’s medical history and current lifestyle. Your cosmetic surgeon will discuss these fully with you during your initial consultation. As with all types of surgery, more serious complications can occur but are unlikely. You should discuss your medical history and any concerns you have fully with your cosmetic surgeon prior to the commencement of any procedure. If general anesthesia is to be used, a period of fasting may be required prior to surgery. Ideally, you should be as fit as possible and have given up smoking for several months prior to liposuction surgery.

Plastic Surgeon Consultation

Rhinoplasty

Closed Rhinoplasty

On your first consultation, your cosmetic surgeon will ask you about what you would like to change about your nose and your expectations about plastic surgery. The cosmetic surgeon will evaluate the structure of your nose and face then discuss various options with you. You should inform your surgeon about any previous nose surgery or nose injury. Your cosmetic surgeon will guide you on how to prepare for the surgery: how to eat, drink, smoke and take or avoid some certain vitamins and medications, and also how to wash your face. Your surgeon will also explain the factors that could influence the procedure and the results, such as the structure of your nasal bones and cartilage, the shape of your face, the thickness of your skin, and so on. An explanation of the requirements for anesthesia, as well as the risks and costs involved, will also be provided. Please inform your plastic surgeon about any allergies or breathing difficulties you may experience as the result of taking any medications, vitamins, recreational drugs, or smoking. Prior to surgery, you should ask as many questions as possible and clarify any concerns you have regarding the expected outcome. Rhinoplasty should be undertaken only after considerable thought and discussion with experienced professionals. Rhinoplasty is not considered appropriate for teenagers due to the emotional and physical adjustments required after surgery.

Tummy Tuck

Ideally, men or women considering a tummy tuck should be in good health with loose skin or fat deposits around the abdominal area that will not respond to diet or exercise. Women undertaking this procedure should not be planning future pregnancies, as muscles tightened during a tummy tuck can loosen again during pregnancy. As with all surgery, liposuction carries some risks. These risks can vary according to a patient’s medical history and current lifestyle. Your cosmetic surgeon will discuss these fully with you during your initial consultation. Smoking can increase the risks associated with surgery and patients should stop smoking several weeks prior to surgery, and during the recovery period. Above all, candidates should have realistic expectations of the outcome of abdominoplasty surgery. The procedure will leave a scar that is permanent, but which will fade over time. You should discuss your expectations fully with your cosmetic (plastic) surgeon during your initial consultation.
