Doctor Michel Pfulg is the founder and medical director of LACLINIC. He began his career as a plastic surgeon at the head of a hospital plastic and reconstructive surgery department before being appointed to the management of the plastic surgery department in several renowned clinics in Switzerland.

Doctor Serge Lê Huu, a FMH specialist in plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgery and a graduate of the European Board of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery, has been practising at LACLINIC since 2007. Dr Lê Huu was born in Lausanne and studied at the Faculty of Medicine of Lausanne University where he obtained his medical degree in 1998. Dr Lê Huu specialized in plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgery in the department of Prof. D.V. Egloff at the University Hospital Centre (CHUV), then at the Longeraie Clinic in Lausanne, and also worked for 18 months as an intern with Professor Maurice Mimoun at the Rothschild Hospital in Paris. He then went on to work as Assistant Head of Clinic in the Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery as well as in the Burn Centre of the CHUV for over two years. Dr Lê Huu is a member of the Swiss Society of Plastic, Aesthetic and Reconstructive Surgery, member of the committee of the Swiss Society of Aesthetic Medicine, and a founder member of the Swiss Society of Plastic Surgery. He is also the author of numerous scientific papers in the field of plastic and aesthetic surgery. As a consultant for Crisalix, a Swiss firm specialized in the development, implementation, design and commercialization of computer software, particularly in plastic surgery simulation, Dr Huu is internationally recognized for his expertise in the field of breast surgery.

Professor Phillip Blondeel is an internationally leading expert on aesthetic and reconstructive breast surgery and one of the pioneers in the so-called “perforator flap” surgery. He is Professor of Plastic Surgery and vice-chairman of the Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University Hospital Gent, Belgium, as well as an attending Plastic Surgeon at Clinique La Prairie in Montreux, Switzerland. A native of the United States of America, Phillip Blondeel received his medical degree from the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven Medical School in Leuven, Belgium. He underwent postgraduate training in plastic surgery in the Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Universitaire Ziekenhuizen, Katholieke Universiteit Leuven as well as at Wolfgang Goethe University in Frankfurt, Germany and earned his Doctor in Medical Sciences (PhD) degree at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Gent in 1998. Prof. Blondeel is a fellow of the Collegium Chirurgicum Plasticum (Belgian Boards)and a diplomate of the European Board of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery. He is currently treasurer of the Royal Belgian Society for Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery. He holds membership in numerous scientific societies, among them the American Society for Reconstructive Microsurgery, the European Association of Plastic Surgeons and the American Society for Plastic Surgery. He is honorary member of the South-African and Canadian Society of Plastic Surgery. A world-renowned expert in the field of aesthetic and reconstructive breast surgery, Prof. Blondeel is a much sought after speaker and teacher who has also authored and co-authored numerous books, book chapters, peer-reviewed articles and abstracts. He currently sits on the editorial boards of the Journal of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery and the Journal of Reconstructive Microsurgery. He is international co-editor of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
