Drs. TGJ van Eijk received his medical training at the University of Nijmegen and the University of Amsterdam, the Academic Medical Center. During his studies he did research at the Experimental Surgery Department at the physical properties of bio-materials. At the Plastic Surgery department, he was involved in research into the genetics of skin disorders.
