She is based in Selangor and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and has almost 18 years of medical and surgical training. Dr Muya graduated from Kursk State Medical University and completed her plastic surgery master's program in Universiti Sains Malaysia. She has further honed her skills through subspecialty training as a plastic surgery fellow at Hospital of Divine Saviour in Austria, where she received training in post-bariatric and post-massive weight loss body contouring, as well as lipedema surgery and lymphedema microsurgeries. Being a Stephen S Kroll Scholar and Fellow,  she completed a highly prestigious breast plastic surgery fellowship and scholarship program in University Gent, Belgium, where she received specialized training in breast plastic and reconstructive surgeries under the guidance of world-renowned pioneers in that area.
