Would strongly recommend

5 50 Rhinoplasty • Paid: €2000

Had consultation the next day I arrived in Cyprus with surgeon Dr L Demetriou at Holly Cross
Larnaca. He made me feel very confident with the way he explained the surgery I would need. Surgery was on 1/9/14 as I was told I will notice final result two month & longer still got over a month plus to see result. The staff were great as well. I would strongly recommend the Holy Cross.

Very swift and good reply. Was honest about possible complications due to my condition. Haven't made my mind up yet but out of all the replies from different clinics this team has won my "vote"
Maria, UK04.03.2015
The response was very fast and it came from the surgeon himself who provided all the necessary information.

Got the information I asked for, and will be in contact when I am in a position to be.

Breast Augmentation

Breast enlargements have been designed in USA and carried out since 1962. Millions of women have mammary implants. It has been one of the most gratifying cosmetic operations from the standpoint of both the patient and the surgeon, it is the most common cosmetic surgical operation carried out by me, in Cyprus so far. As all the cosmetic surgery operations, so breast augmentation is generally not considered to be a high risk operation. Of course every cosmetic operation involves some minor risks.

Facelift

The operation is performed through incisions that begin on the scalp, in the temple area, and extend sharp in front of the ear. It then continues around the earlobe and behind the ear, curving into the hair-bearing scalp. The skin of the face is lifted off of the facial muscles then pulled back and up in a tighter position. Some surgeons may tighten the facial muscles at the same time. Both sides of the face are treated similarly, redraping the skin in the same fashion. In some patients tightening the muscles of the neck, and removal of excess fat in the neck, is also done through a small incision made beneath the chin.

Gynecomastia

The operation is performed using intravenous sedation and local anaesthetic or general anaesthesia. If the patient feels well, he can go home within a few hours. The operation is usually performed through an inconspicuous incision made around the lower half of the areola, which is the dark coloured skin around the nipple. This approach is used for glandular breast enlargement and fat excess so that after the excision a flatter, more contoured chest wall is the result. Depending upon the amount of tissue removed, a drain may or may not be left in place. The drain is usually removed in 1-2 days following the operation.

Plastic Surgeon Consultation

Rhinoplasty

The plastic surgeon takes into account the patient's nasal features that need to be changed, examining carefully the nasal structure and the overlying skin covering. With this information, the surgeon and patient discuss the realistic modifications that can be made to obtain the desired result. Each patient’s needs are unique and complete discussion with their surgeon is essential part of surgical decision making. The proposed form of nose can be shown and studied on a computer simulation program but without the promise that this will be the exact result of the operation.

Tummy Tuck

The operation is performed through an incision along the lower abdomen, just above the pubic hairline. The length of incision depends on the size of the problem and may extend from one hipbone to the other. Another small circular incision is made around the belly button, which is left attached on a stalk to the abdominal wall. The skin and fat are then freed up to the rib cage. The abdominal muscles are revealed and pulled by stitching them together along the mid line. This achieves a flatter, firmer abdomen, better waist and longer lasting result. The excess skin and fat is removed, and the remaining skin and fat is pulled down as a flap and stitched to the lower end of the incision. This usually requires the patient to be flexed at the hips at the time of the operation. Stretch marks and old scars in the lower part of the abdomen will be removed during the course of the surgery, but all of these may not be gone. The belly button is brought out through a small incision, and stitched to the skin, in its new position. Drains are left beneath the skin flap for up to 48 hours following the operation. In some cases, if needed, fat may be removed from the flanks using liposuction. The only stitches to be removed are around the belly button, in one week. The main wound is sutured with buried absorbable material.
