After a lot of research & reading reviews I decided to contact Cosmetic Surgery Cyprus. Gill, Dr Bugra's co-ordinater is great! All questions I asked were responded to, and I asked a lot! Gill helped us (a few of us have had/having surgery) with every aspect of our surgeries and getting to the hospital, she's an excellent asset to Dr Bugra. We met Dr Bugra on a few occasions, he's s perfectionist!! Which is exactly you what you want when considering surgery!! His English is exellent, had a lovely bed side manner, very calm and patient. I had breast implants and my friend had a tummy tuck, can I just say the scars are PERFECT!! I'm a week post op, and am so happy with the results so far, I also know if I need any advice both Gill and Dr Bugra are on hand 24/7. What a great hospital, I can't fault it, clean, friendly, they also have a translator if there's any language barriers. The fact that I was in a hospital and not a clinic for my procedure, made my mind up really. I got to stay in over night, with a companion if you chose (all in the cost). I was checked on regularly and offered pain relief at regular intervals, I was very impressed with the hospital.

I have been suffering from recurrent basal cell carcinoma (BCC) on my back for 8 years since 2009. Following many surgical removals of BCC re-occurrence up to 2016, a recent biopsy done in the UK revealed that they were recurring again and into deep tissue. I was advised to have radical surgery that would then require a skin graft by a plastic surgeon. I live in Cyprus and I was referred to Dr. Ioannis Georgiou by the plastic surgeon at Nicosia General Hospital, who advised that Dr. Georgiou used the Mohs method of surgery that I had been advised provided a better chance of removing all the BCC. Dr. Georgiou performed the necessary surgery on me at the excellent Dikteon clinic and also Nicosia Polyclinic in Nicosia, using Mohs method over two days at the beginning of October 2017. The biopsy results subsequently show that my affected back is currently clear of BCC, and Dr. Georgiou provided a very clear post surgery report on what he had carried out and the arrangements he proposed after a year’s observation. The skin graft is now healing as is the donor area Dr. Georgiou used for skin from my thigh. The operating procedure went smoothly and safely without pain and I would definitely recommend Dr. Georgiou for anyone like myself who requires similar treatment of persistent BCC re-occurrence.

When I eventually arrived at the correct address the meeting with the surgeon was excellent. He explained and talked me through the procedure and gave me a knee injection to initially help my mobility and ease the pain. On the same evening I was almost walking normally without the aid of a stick and virtually pain free. Another appointment booked for 11.00 am 10th March. When I turned up for my appointment reception had no record of me. After checking my mobile phone for the number of my contact it transpired that all pre-operation discussions and physical checks are carried out at a different site with only the operations taking place at the clinic. No one had told me! After reception had spoken to my contact a car was sent to guide me on the 15 minutes drive to the correct place. Not a very inspiring start!

I had skin graft treatment for a facial defect. Dr. Stavrou went well beyond anything I could’ve expected. He helped me so much. He is genuine, honest and caring and is only after the best results not the most expensive treatment unlike some other doctors out there. I can’t recommend him and his team highly enough. I have been to numerous surgeons all over the world with my medical issue and Dr. Stavrou was by a long way the best! The building is super modern and well located. The technology is the newest & best. Upon entering you just know you came to the right place.
