Dr Daniel Jacobazzi

Job Title:
  Doctor
Biography:
He is a biomechanical specialist and founder of hpiChicago. While competing as a scholarship athlete on Auburn University’s track and field program, he experienced several career threatening injuries, but with the help of chiropractic and physical therapy, bounced back to become a three-year letterman and place in the highly competitive SEC conference meet as a senior. Due to his experiences as a college athlete, he chose an educational path that allowed him to help others not only regain their health, but improve it. He received his doctorate in chiropractic in 1999 and later followed with a master’s in physical therapy. He established his first practice in Ohio, which was devoted to injury recovery. Later, it was the vision of building a health and wellness center with to help patients overcome the inevitable injuries associated with an active, vigorous lifestyle. Upon this foundation, hpiChicago was built, providing a comprehensive arsenal of health improvement tools to maximize your health and quality of life. He lives in the adjacent neighborhood of Uptown and can often be seen running or riding through the surrounding neighborhoods of Lincoln Square, Ravenswood, Northcenter, and St. Ben's as he trains for upcoming triathlons. During the year, he continuously devotes time to developing his professional skills by remaining an active member in APTA's sponsored conventions and completing continuing education classes working to stay abreast of the most recent developments in diagnosis and treatment. He also enjoys living in the community he serves and counts many of his patients not only as neighbors, but as friends and training partners.

Dr Shawn Delk

Job Title:
  Doctor
Biography:
He completed his undergraduate education at the University of Houston and University of Texas, receiving his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Life University in Marietta, Georgia. During his scholastic career, Dr. Shawn competed as an NCAA cyclist for Life University and has also enjoyed a long career as a competitive mountain biker. It was this competitive drive that he channeled into developing himself as a well-rounded and accomplished health care provider. His initial training began with a 3 ½ year internship in one of the country's largest spinal correction clinics located in Denver, Colorado where he had the opportunity to work with Denver Bronco players, professional golfers, and Michael Jordan Motorsports team members. After completing his tenure in Denver, he moved to Illinois to work in joint practice with long-time friend and chiropractic school classmate, Dr. Dan. The two doctors worked together to build a thriving spinal correction practice in the city. He remains an active member of the World Chiropractic Alliance and International Chiropractors Association and regularly donates his time by providing community health service and education programs to area businesses, fitness centers, and volunteer groups. He continues to enjoy training, traveling, and racing bicycles at the amateur level for Chicago based Burnham Racing, and many of his patients and teammates come from the surrounding neighborhoods of Northcenter, St. Ben's, Uptown, Lincoln Square, and Ravenswood. He enjoys being an active member in restoring and maintaining the health of sports minded individuals from the surrounding neighborhoods. He also enjoys snowboarding, traveling, playing, and spending time with friends and family.
