I had a stiff shoulder that was clicking a lot but not releasing any tension, a very tense neck, and general muscle tightness that you accrue from a desk job and stress. I’d previously tried sports massage, and found that it didn’t really work for me at all, I needed something that dealt with my joints.
Andy was great – walked me through how he was going to loosen up the area around it around it as well as the joint itself, and also let me know that I had hypermobile joints, which probably contributed to the amount of pressure I put them through.
I came out feeling well clicked out and more unwound than I’ve been in months, it was great.
I picked it because it was close to where I worked - it's literally next to Holborn station inside a building with a helpful receptionist. The clinic is small but clean and tidy and doesn't feel too sterile.
