I have been undergoing treatment for a shoulder and back problem and after only 5 sessions I am feeling the benefits. Jess is my chiropractor and she is very passionate about what she does, any questions or concerns you may have she is more than happy to discuss them with you. It's a great clinic, all the staff are so friendly and welcoming, will definitely be referring people to the clinic as they really do make a difference to your wellbeing.

My treatment is going really well

4.5 50 Chiropractor Consultation

I first went not knowing if they could help me with my knee injury. After my first visit, I was still unsure about my treatment as I thought they only dealt with back pain. Boy, how wrong was I? My treatment is going really well. I even had to have an extra treatment due to a fall at work. My treatment is going really well.

Stefan is looking after me for my treatments, he is so caring and gentle with my treatment. He explains all of my treatment every visit. What I like most about Stefan is his sense of humour. I cannot imagine not going to see him for treatment. He even listens to my waffling on.

Back Pain Treatment

Your lower back is more susceptible to injury because it is a very unstable part of your spine that is not supported by your rib cage, unlike your thoracic spine. Although this instability facilitates greater mobility, it also makes that part of your body more prone to injury. Fortunately, as long as your lower back is functioning correctly, it can withstand tremendous forces without sustaining any injury.

Chiropractic adjustments work by helping to place your spine and body in the proper position that then allows the body to heal itself.

Chiropractic care aims to address the whole body, a natural, drugless approach enhancing patients’ ability to think, move and perform.

Because the nervous system controls every cell and organ in your body, chiropractors focus attention on the health of the spine being properly aligned.

If the spine shifts out of its proper place, then adjustments are used to help bring the spine back into alignment.

• Comprehensive review of your health history

You will be asked to complete a health history questionnaire which gives us a good overview of your general health history, this is important in understanding how your past may have contributed to your current chiropractic health.

• Chiropractic Examination

(Orthopaedic, Neurologic and Palpation)
Your dedicated chiropractor will carry out an initial chiropractic examination, covering things like flexibility, range of movement, posture and many other general areas.

• Postural & Spinal Assessment

As part of your examination we will cover your posture, a key part of assesing your general chiropractic health.

• X-ray imaging

If your chiropractor feels it necessary they will carry out a digital spine x-ray. This will help in many cases to quickly ascertain the root cause of any pain and discomfort you are experiencing. (any number of x-rays needed are included)

• A report of findings

Following your initial chiropractic consultation we will book a date for you to return so we can run through a full report of findings with you. This will explain what was found in the consultation and x-rays, our recommendations and your on-going treatment plan.

At Life Chiropractic, we use the latest Digital X-ray equipment and software which provides instant results direct to our computers. This means we can start analysing your results immediately to provide you with the appropriate care as soon as possible.

Occasionally we may need to use X-rays to help alert our chiropractors to any serious health conditions you are experiencing. This isn’t always necessary for every client but is something we will consider using to make sure your treatment plan is the most effective method for you.

Our chiropractors are trained in Radiography and Radiology which means they are fully qualified to take the X-rays and interpret the results.

Biography:
I joined the Rayleigh team since the clinic was established in July/August of 2013. Since then, I have really enjoyed helping hundreds of clients, as best as I possibly can, to return and maintain a better quality of life. I graduated from Anglo-European College of Chiropractic in Bournemouth, with Masters in Chiropractic.

Alongside my 5 year degree, I also developed an interest in sports chiropractic and optimizing health and performance, and therefore attended a number of seminars regarding extremity adjusting (CCEP, Certified Chiropractic Extremity Practitioner). The main chiropractic technique that I use is Diversified, which allows me to help anyone from babies to people in their 80s and 90s.

Outside work, I tend to be a bit of an “adrenaline junkie”, some may say. I have always enjoyed being active and being outdoors. Snowboarding, Basketball and Gym are some of my main hobbies.

The atmosphere in the clinic is always so relaxing, friendly and welcoming, which makes it an extremely enjoyable environment to work in.
My favourite thing about working at Life Chiropractic is that I don’t see it as work!

I have been at Life chiropractic since February 2016 and hold a Masters degree in chiropractic from the Anglo-European College of Chiropractic. 

I particularly enjoy working with horse-riders and sports people, but every patient that comes through the door whether they are 1 or 100 can expect to really be listened to, to know they are in safe hands, to be educated and actively included in moving forwards with treatment.

Outside of work I enjoy riding my horse, keeping active and seeing friends and family around the country.

Life chiropractic has a true ethos of wellness, and its great to see how this can influence our patients in many different ways.
