Dr. Fischer comes from a family of artistic individuals and was sketching and making clay figures from a very early age. With an architect father he quickly developed an eye for beauty and detail, and won awards for his posters and sculptures in school. He has taken medals from the American Physicians Art Association and has had several one-man shows at local art galleries and the YMHA's in Wayne and Englewood, NJ. When one enters his office in the Radburn section of Fair Lawn, they quickly see that art and beauty are essential elements in his life. Dr. Fischer is particularly interested in Body Contour Surgery and Liposculpture and was the first plastic surgeon in NJ to offer these procedures, after going abroad to study with the French plastic surgeons who invented them.
