He began his medical practice in 1975 as a family physician. In 1987, he decided to change careers to provide the population of the Abitibi-Témiscamingue medical services that were not available continuously in the region. As it has good technical ability, he chose to develop expertise in phlebology it acquires in Paris in 1987. When asked to add the treatments in aesthetic medicine, which did not exist in the region in 1995, went to the United States to receive high quality training with Dr. Frederick Brant, dermatologist recognized in the field.

Coming from a family of 9 children and thrust inside by a need to help others, sylvianne complete first a nursing assistant training in 1977. With a strong ability to work it becomes ambulance few years later to juggle both careers. She hospital practice until 1993 when Dr. Jacques offered him a position she accepted in phlebology clinic.

With a work experience of over 30 years with the public, she joined the team of Dr. Jacques in 2005. His gracious presence, his good humor, his calm comforting and sweet personality are the guarantee of a warm welcome.
