Bariatric Surgery Clinics Izmir

I have just returned home having had laser eye surgery through Sam Patient Services. I had initially thought I would have it done in the UK but I was quoted £4,500 so I decided to research going to Turkey - I have previously been to Izmir but via a different company. Having done my research I decided to contact Sam patient services where my coordinator (Murat)asked for information about my eyesight, general health questions etc and I sent them an eye report from the opticians so that the surgeon could review all the information to see if I was suitable. I was also advised that there were several options for laser eye surgery (all explained individually along with the prices and what was included I.e. accommodation, breakfast etc) and that this could be discussed with the surgeon as to which would be more suitable for me. The surgeon confirmed that I was suitable and I would be able to have the procedure in around 3 weeks time! I then paid a small deposit to secure my booking but the remaining balance would need to be pain in sterling on arrival - this is common practice in Turkey. On arrival to Izmir I was collected from the airport via VIP taxi service who took me to the hotel - the Ramada Encore. The hotel was lovely and I had a sea view room on the 17th floor. After a short time my coordinator arrived to take payment and explained we would then go to the eye hospital (only 5 minutes away). I had several tests at the eye hospital and everything was explained to me at all stages in the process. The English spoken was very good. I was then introduced to the eye surgeon who explained more about the procedures and I decided to have the ‘Smile’ surgery. I was told I was able to have the surgery in around an hours time! I was transferred with another representative from Sam (everyone I met from Sam spoke excellent English and were lovely!) via hospital minibus to the central location to have the surgery. I was gowned up and given some eye drops and pain relief before the surgery. There was no pain during the surgery and the surgeon spoke to me (again in very good English!) throughout the procedure which was very quick. Afterwards it was explained to me about taking my eye drops and medication and I was given protective glasses to wear and potential side effects. My eyes were a bit blurry afterwards and I just wanted to close them - it had been a long day so I made sure I had all the medication and went to sleep! I was booked in for a check up the next morning where I met the surgeon again who confirmed everything was a success and confirmed my eyes would continue to improve over the next 3 months. I could see so much better already! I was also given information on the procedure to take home with me along with further medication. The next day I did a tour to Ephesus which Sam patient services arranged and would recommend. The following day I returned home! It’s amazing the difference it has made already - my issue was distance and astigmatism. I would whole heartedly recommend Sam Patient Services and would contact them again if I wanted any further procedures. I felt reassured the whole time and anytime I needed to speak to my coordinator they were really responsive to my questions. I have not been paid for this review but believe that when good service is received it should be recognised.

I was a very unhealthy, unhappy man weighing 149.23 kg. At 46 years old I had my first heart attack. At 48 years old I was diagnosed with angina. My weight was killing me. We agreed to schedule surgery for the following week. I booked the flights and 5 days later they picked me up from Izmir airport. I was taken to a decent hotel for the first night and then they took me to the hospital the next morning. Sezen met me there and took me to see all the different doctors for every test you can imagine. Heart, lungs, x-ray, ultrasound, mental health: everything was checked. I felt well cared for and the level of professionalism was excellent. I met Dr Metin Karadeniz before the operation and we had a chat. I felt completely at ease. I went down early afternoon and woke up back in my private hospital room. I was walking a few hours later with very minimal pain. The staff came and checked on me regularly and gave me IV fluids. I spent the next three days in hospital, walking and following their post operative regime. When Dr Metin discharged me I went back to the hotel for a few days, enjoying walking around Ismir. I went for a checkup at his clinic with him and the nutritionist before returning home to England. It has now been 10 weeks since surgery and I have lost 30.39kg! I feel so much healthier, I no longer have sleep apnea, my cholesterol has come down from 6.7 to 3.5, my HbA1c is down to 33. My BMI was 46.94 and is now 35.8. I was a 48” waist and I’m now a 40”. This has been the best gift I have ever given myself. It has saved my life. If you are big/unhappy/struggling……. Don’t hesitate. It’s not a magic wand and the new lifestyle isn’t easy but it is life-changing. Thank you to the whole team.

It was a great 3 days, of course, there was some pain, but I think it will be worth it. Doctor Tufan Ergenc and his team were all really great and nice, we were treated very well and looked after very well. I recommend it to everyone

I had the best experience here. I went on my own for a gastric sleeve but never felt alone. Lyann was so supportive and helpful and all the nurses were absolutely fantastic. I had my nose done with Dr Durukan 3 weeks ago, and it is the best thing I've ever done. Teoman met us at the airport and he is the loveliest person ever putting me right at ease and excited for my surgery, we met the nurse and Dr. Durukan the following day and they were both amazing, so nice and professional, she looked after me so well after my surgery also. And she also had her nose done by him which is amazing! I’m so happy with my results like it’s better than I wanted (he is a genius) and I will definitely be back to them if I ever want anything done again, the best of the best!

I had bulbous nose and my surgery had in May 2023. Dr Bahitten is very professional I’m really satisfied with the results. The hospital was clean and tidy and the staff was very friendly & helpful. Ideal for solo travellers. The package was responsible too. Please ask for medical documents before leaving the hospital cause on Airport you can be ask for your reports. I highly recommend this Hospital.

After many weeks of research I found B&G Health Clinic. These guys ticked all the boxes in what I was looking for and what I needed. I was given a phone number for a lovely lady her name is Bilgi. This lady is absolutely fantastic you can message through what’s app. Bilgi arranged absolutely everything for me right down from meeting me at the airport with transfer transport to clinic plus a fantastic stay in the hospital with the most caring and brilliant staff that take care of you 24 seven and then you’ve got the surgeon. What can I say about this surgeon he is one of the best surgeons I could talk about. He is absolutely fantastic and very friendly comes and sees you have chats with you. Then after my operation and stay in the hospital transport was arranged to take me to a five star hotel. Wow hotel was absolutely brilliant with a thermal swimming pool. Only problem was the bar was a little bit expensive but you won’t need it, then I was picked up the following morning from the hotel I transferred back to the airport. If anybody is considering weight loss surgery, I do recommend giving these guys a try- even have a chat with them.

I had my Gastric Sleeve over 3 months ago, everything went really smoothly. Very professional and fast. As soon as I came to the clinic, a lot of blood test were done straight away. After surgery I received all the papers even with translation to English and my GP is happy with this, as also the analysis plan after surgery for the next year. I see it very professional. This surgery has made a massive difference for my future. If anyone is thinking about getting this surgery done at Dr Han I would 100% recommend this and you will definitely not regret this in any way.

The Medifema clinic is the only clinic that responded. I went on 20 August to look at the possibilities and on 22 August they did the breast implant, a facial correction and on the 29th the are looking at my varicose veins. So, one clinic is taking care of all my requests.
