I had gastric bypass 7 months ago This was a little bit hard but now I am really okey I feel better I had ınsulin resistance but now I have not. I am very happy right now.

I was recommended by a friend to go with mayclinik, contacted them with WhatsApp number to get a quote for desired surgery. I was unsure at first because I was nervous and scared about booking over text but everything was so assuring. I arrived in Istanbul and picked up by private car of the clinic, taken to the hotel and always had support when I needed. A special shout out to my surgeon Dr Osman who performed my gastric sleeve surgery. I spent 3 nights in hospital the nurses were available to me. I was in contact with my coordinator Busra for my questions as well. After 3 days, I was discharged by my surgeon and taken to the hotel. There are hotel nurses who welcomed me, gave instruction on how to use medications prescribed, explained me the diet list given, and they provided me soup recommended by my doctor, they brought it to my room even My coordinator Busra was absolutely fantastic, she helped me through the nerves and dealt with everything for me. She acted as a good friend to me, She is very good at her job and I am grateful to have her. It's been 2.5 months I had my operation, the progress going well. I am still in contact with nurses for my questions. I am really happy I made the decision to go with them and, I will recommend Mayclinik to anyone considering any surgery they provide, because they really take care of their patients!!

I had my mini gastric bypass in April but unfortunately had some complications. The many many pre-op assessments didn't show anything was wrong. The surgeons saved my life due to their knowledge and experience. This hospital is the most amazing place. It is spotlessly clean with well-trained staff. The nurses attended me every time I needed and they couldn't do enough to ensure I was comfortable. The surgeons came to see me every day and check my health and encourage me when I was down. My husband was with me and he was fed 3 meals a day without fail and he had a comfortable bed beside me. I cannot recommend this hospital enough. I can assure you will get the best treatment from all the staff from surgeons to auxiliary staff. I will definitely be choosing this hospital for skin surgery.

Highly recommend. I had a gastric ballon six months ago. I lost 20 kg with the support and great advices from Dietitian Nur. Dr Kaplan is a very good doctor with huge experience and always want the best option for patient. It was a good experience. Also good value for money.

Cannot thank my coordinator Fatih Ozturk enough for all the help, all the arranging, the checking in with me and making sure I'm okay, especially as I travelled alone for my surgery from the UK. Equally I cannot put into words how grateful I am for all the staff at Istanbul obesity academy that have cared for me during my for 4 day stay for my gastric sleeve surgery, they were fantastic and so caring towards me. Seven months ago, I had my gastric sleeve. Everything was very soothing. I went to Istanbul only for my surgery. To be very honest, I was very nervous about my surgery, but when I came to the clinic, I noticed that they provide their best services at a meager rate. All the staff members and doctors are concerned about the health of their patients. Within one week of hospital and & hotel stay, their clinic staff members very much cared about my health status, and I lost 42 kg in seven months. I must say this is the best experience ever in my life.

Smooth process, from booking to the transfers and accommodation that was sorted for me. The procedure (elipse balloon) was painless, I was only in the clinic one hour. Managed to lose 11lbs in one week, so I'd recommend.
