CT scan. It wasn't cheap but it was less than I expected for a CT scan. It cost £240 or around that sum but it provided a scan/picture of the whole set of teeth. The receptionist was professional, punctual and clear. The dentist who dealt with me was very nice and calm, and he explained everything at every step. He advised me very clearly on what my choices are, and if I get implants somewhere else, what details and model/number/size of the material to look for in case I develop problems later and need help. He answered all the questions I had and also spotted an infection I wasn't aware of. I would go back there because I felt he was knowledgeable but also understanding. Another great plus is having parking right in front of the clinic.

After suffering from a painful wisdom tooth for quite some time, Abbey Dental Care took care of me. I saw Dr Bailey who was fantastic with me, he prescribed much-needed antibiotics to sort the infection and then referred me to see Dr Joe Gray who extracted the tooth. I was extremely nervous as this was not a straightforward extraction, in terms of how the tooth was growing, where it was growing and also with bone growing over the tooth. The very talented Dr Gray made sure I was comfortable and giving me as many breaks as I needed during the procedure. I can not recommend Abbey Dental Care enough and certainly the Dr's I saw and not to forget the dental nurses who also was fantastic. Along with pleasant reception staff who was also very kind. I cannot thank the Cathedral Dental practice enough. I had suffered 6 months of pain in two of my teeth. My local dentist did not want to take the risk of taking these out through concerns of complications. The cathedral practice fitted me in within three days. So very friendly which put me at my ease. Very informative and can honestly say no pain at all. I felt the price was very reasonable too. Lewis was in reception and was so cheerful I asked him to ring me every morning to set me up for the day. I cannot recommend them highly enough. I am a very happy person.
