At 9am on 30 August I had an appointment and was very apprehensive about what was to come. Thanks to Dr Azizi and Mia, the dental nurse, all went very well for me. Both offered frequent reassurances, were understanding and above all, comforting. I was back home within 40 minutes. Very satisfied that the procedure was complete. My appointment was for a consultation with a view to having dental implant work done. My dentist had recommended two local dental practices and this was the second one I visited. Smile seemed to me to be doing the work over a longer timescale which I felt was better in order to allow sufficient time for healing which would in turn give a more viable result.
I saw Dr Mitesh Badiani hoping to have implants but due to gums, I was unable. He referred me to Dr Supriti Paraskar who is making me new dentures as my old ones are not fitting correctly. So far she has veneered 4 of my teeth levelling them and closing my front gap, I cannot praise her and her assistant more top class. She has totally changed my look, my teeth now look good to look at, I keep smiling. I have found all staff very helpful, friendly and reassuring. I was happy with the price I have paid for veneers, not extortionate like you would think
I haven't been to the dentist for 7 years so I went for my first visit to The Rock Dental Practice (Yelverton, Devon) with more than a little trepidation, but I needn't have worried - it was all good. Everyone is very friendly and everything is explained including treatment and pricing. Having only been to NHS dentists previously, cost was a concern but this turned out to be less than I imagined, and to be honest, NHS treatment in London was always quite expensive. So, you could say The Rock rocks!
