The best possible outcome⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I flew to Turkey with some fears and worries which were immediately put at ease as soon as we arrived at the airport. Transfers were spot on, hotel clean and good location and the hospital experience was faultless. From the moment I stepped into the hospital the care from every single member was amazing. After the surgery the nurses were always prompt with medication, painkillers, changing the wound dressing etc. After 3 days spent in the hospital post-op, I felt good enough to go sightseeing in Istanbul.😍 And Dr Cem and his team are just such amazing people and genuinely care about their patient's wellbeing. This was a good experience for me. It was quite daunting at first due to the language barrier but the staff are very attentive and caring. Pre op tests v thorough. I was topped up with all required meds regularly and apart from immediately post op, (when I was in significant pain 7/10) the pain was well managed throughout. I think I'd have felt a bit vulnerable if my daughter hadn't been with me, ( "pass me this, pass me that" etc) as the staff are busy and don't hang about BUT the nursing care is good. The doc is lovely (Necet Derici) and visited me twice daily until discharge on day 3. Dietician Follow up also good and hotel lovely. No complaints whatsoever. My only suggestion being is to bring a companion.
